Mission Bay Sportcenter — Local services in San Diego

We rented from this place on August 1st. The bathrooms were SO disgusting I almost vomited just by the sight. There was a thick slurry of water, dirt/sand and wadded up toilet paper on the ground in each stall. I really didn't know if I was stepping in poop or pee or what but I really had to go so I dealt with it. There was NO TOILET PAPER in one of the stalls and its TP holder was BROKEN and falling off of the wall. I go to wash my hands and the sinks barely work and there is NO SOAP in the dispenser. There are NO TOWELS and the hand dryer is BROKEN (like that makes a difference bc what's the point if you aren't able to wash your hands!!). I informed the front kiosk person of the state of the bathroom and she gave me a snotty look and barely acknowledged me. Horrendous and inexcusable. After our excursion, there were rental papers on the ground of the dock by the guide booth/stand, torn with footprints on them. It appears this place is run by a bunch of kids who don't give a $#%! about anything but...

BEWARE Was jet skiing with a group of 3. We had issues getting one of the jet skis to work (couldn't figure out how to reattach the Killswitch) so one of us went back for help. One guy stayed with the broken down jet ski for safety reasons (large boats and jetskis all around @ 50mph so not a good idea being out there alone without power). Ended up being on the water 30 minutes extra waiting for help, was charged 15 minutes extra for the jet ski we were having issues with and 30 minutes extra for the guy who stayed for safety reasons. It's not clear why they would only discount 1 of the prices but it appears they are indifferent about the safety of their riders, it seems they would rather have had us leave the broken down jet ski rider dead in the water without anyone there for safety. Customer service and concern for the safety of their customers was severely lacking.

This was supposed to be my birthday gift from my brother unfortunately it was Not a good experience. We are from out of town and have never been here before. Got lost trying to find the very small no wake zone. (Wasn't well explained how to find it) One of the riders didn't want to continue so went back and brought one of the jet skis back early. Went back out to find the rest of the group and realized time was already up before I even made it to the no wake zone. Got back 15 minutes late and had to pay $47 extra. Even tho one of the jet skis was only used for half of the time. Didn't even take it into consideration to waive the fee for the slight time overage. Will not return. Also the bathroom didn't have paper towel and the hand dryer was broken. You would think that would be a priority during these times. Apparently no one is available to answer the phones (called 4...
