I downloaded the McDonald App this morning. Picked breakfast for the entire family and submitted my order to my nearest McDonalds, all before 10AM.
I went to the McDonalds to pick up my order and the General Manager Mariam told me they donât have eggs, they donât have English muffins, they donât have bacon, they donât have have pancakes, they donât have donât have any of items I ordered. They âranâ out and now itâs past 10:30 and they donât serve breakfast after 10:30am. I politely explained that I place my order before 10am and she told me they donât get my order until I arrive at the store and check in as I am waiting outside on the curb. I told her then if thatâs a fact, it defeats the purpose of ordering online for pick up, because the whole purpose is the have the food ready before we arrive. I also told her I find it impossible to believe that McDonalds ran out of eggs, bacon, english muffins and all the other breakfast items. She said she did and they only have my drinks, thatâs it.
Felt it was necessary to share the story with you because this is my first time Iâm using your McDonaldâs app. Again too important facts remember Iâve placed my order before 10:00 AM and if what the general manager Mariam says is correct, that breakfast food is no longer available because they ran out of food, which I donât think any reasonable person with low IQ can even believe, because it is impossible to run out of all those items at the same time, but thatâs what she said, they ran out of eggs, run out of bacon, ran out of English muffins, and pancake too. They have no breakfast items at ALL! She then added it was after 10:30 and they stopped serving. I told her I ordered before 10am and she adds that the order DOES NOY SHOW on her screen until I arrive to PICK UP my order, which is also very difficult to believe for any person with an average level IQ. Simple put, this General Manager was nothing short of LAZY, and did not want to prepare my order, using these pies and telling me they are FACTS, as an rasa or goat to vent her lies. I donât know if any reasonable person will find that very difficult to believe. If thatâs the case, why even order online and request a pick up if they only get the order when I arrive and thatâs when they start preparing it. This McDonalds has FAILED miserably in the category of Customer Service and Selection for their General Manager Mariam as the person Iâm charge. She does not know how to communicate effectively and does not what customer service means. She has NO BUSINESS being a supervisor, nonetheless a manger or even a general manager as she claimed. Every thing she said was a lie and it is beyond any intelligent persons comprehension to believe these lies. I would have respected her and the store more, if she said, Sir, we are too busy and couldnât get to your order on time to make and now itâs past 10:30 and we donât make breakfast after 10:30. I would of been upset, but not outraged at the her lies and trying to cover up why she didnât have my breakfast ready. I have one star because thatâs the least I can give to submit my review, in my humble opinion, this locations General Manager deserve a minus (-) 5 stars, one star rating is way too much for her!!!    Read moreQuite disappointed in the experience dining here, being born and raised from San Diego frequenting many of the McDonald's from the border to Carlbad, this one is disappointing for several reasons. First off the service. Now mostly and I mean mostly, Display Damn good customer service ,exceptional if you will though there needs to be a little more of "this that and the other" for it to be exceptional but nevertheless amazing customer service and that being said the young girl who works at the first drive-thru window and always wears a mask is exceptionally rude! Now I'm a lifer when it comes to McDonald's but new to the app, now mind you I'm no old fogy I'm 36 and quite capable but a few areas of the McDonald's app are hard to navigate and or understand what to do next. That being said I was asking the girl at the drive-thru "first window" who's job it is to be welcoming of guests whilst giving them dignity and respect about the app for the code or some such mentioning that I was new to it and she literally rolled her eyes, and every time I see her shes just plain rude, displaying explain the opposite of good customer service as if it's a bother that u are there or even to take your order correctly and that leads to the next problem the food preparation and safety, the last time I ordered when this girl was working I asked for no pickles and no onions on the burger and I do believe she heard me I said it twice clearly, the burger came with little black pieces all over it, burnt beyond recognition that literally I thought it was rat feces and was quite turned off from the meal at that point if the service wasn't doing that already. And yes there was pickles as well and upon looking at the receipt the order didn't have no pickles or no onions it was just for a regular burger how it comes. Among other mistakes that I Will spare you. Now on to good customer service I've talked to two of the managers about the issue and the management give great customer service but that being said the issue hasn't changed and it really is making me uncomfortable to the point where I'm writing this and now headed to a different McDonald's to feed me and my kids for breakfast!    Read moreThis morning on my way into work I was gonna stop at McDonald's. I checked online last night to make sure I knew when it opened. So I get there at 6:17am. There's a cone in the drive-thru. Okay fine I get it... Maybe not everyone showed up on time or people called out. It's a Sunday so maybe they aren't staffed enough for the drive-thru. So I park and get out to go to the inside. I see on the door it says it opens at 6am. I was like, perfect everything is correct online. We'll I go to open it and it's locked... the lady inside finally notices me and waves me off.. I wasn't very happy. I mean if a place says in multiple spots that they open at 6am... they should be ready to serve at 6am. And its not like i got there at 6am on the dot. It was 20 mins past. There were no lines and they werent slammed in any way..Very frustrating.
A couple hours later after we get off of work, we go back.. it's gotta be open now. It was. But when I ordered 2 hasbrowns and I only got one. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese mcgriddle and got sausage. I get that's people make mistakes and that it is only fast food.. but I was very disappointed with my experience at this McDonald's.
