I've always been extremely nervous about switching hairstylists, but when I switched to Mia Blossom, Mindy's personal touch put me at ease. I arrived a year ago at my first appointment with a head full of over processed, dry, brittle, short hair that would not grow. Needless to say, I was a very unhappy person. Today, however, my hair is stronger, healthier, and is finally growing. What's Mindy's secret? Organic hair products, organic henna hair color, hair strengthening treatment, and education.

First, Mindy convinced me to start using organic shampoo, conditioner, and styling products. She taught me how to properly wash my hair focusing only at the roots and encouraged me to wash my hair less frequent, to use my hot rollers instead of the curling iron and to stop using hairspray. That was a major accomplishment on my part because old habits are hard to break.

For the past eight months, Mindy has been using a combination of her own mix of organic henna color and a hair strengthening treatment when coloring my hair. I have been coming to Mindy for about a year now. Before her, I was getting regular chemical hair coloring and, after years and years of doing this, my hair and scalp began to react badly.
