One word for this, the ABSOLUTE WORST, most unaccommodating place toward seniors. Today, Saturday, July 2, at 6:20a, I once again drove over for a small, Senior coffee, black, no sugar. Just yesterday, July 1, a small senior coffee was $1.39. By comparison, a small, Senior coffee is $1.08 at the McDonald’s on Bonita Rd in Chula Vista; $0.96 cents in Mira Mesa (see photo of receipt). This morning, the exceedingly sharp and nasty person at the window hissed “$1.93. Next window!” When I expressed my utter incredulity over the price of a senior coffee, black, no sugar, she again snapped “1.93! Next window!” I drive through both windows and sit in the parking lot now across from Souplantation writing this review. This is the third hostile experience I have had at this McDonald’s.
On June 29, at 7:45a, I rolled up to the drive through squawk box and ordered 2 bacon, egg and cheese biscuits WITHOUT the biscuits. By the time I got to the order pick up menu, there was mass confusion as to wether I ordered 2 bacon, egg and cheese biscuits WITHOUT the biscuits or 2 SAUSAGE, egg and cheese biscuits. Pedro, the rotund supervisor or manager (as he cowardly chose not to identify himself), stormed over to the pick up window ready to attack, berate and intimidate me about my order. Disgusted and shaken, I refused the order and requested a refund. Pedro issued the refund, only by today, 7/2, the refund still had not been applied to my account (I paid with Apple Pay).
I decided to drive through again, just to make certain I heard the rude female correctly. This time, I was told the small, senior coffee was $1.39. When I asked for the name of the rotund manager with the dark hair, the young boy at the pay window, with disingenuous politeness said “I don’t know his name.”
“You mean to tell me you don’t know the name of your supervisor?” I asked with annoyance and incredulity. He decided to stand in his obvious, outright lie.
I drove up to the pick up window where I asked the woman for the name of the rotund gentleman with the very dark hair. She told me his name was Pedro. I then related that I did not receive the refund from 6/29 and produced the receipt, whereupon she immediately issued me a cash refund on the spot.
These workers are currently making $15.00 an hour. The service and depth of rudeness and the lack of integrity testifies to the character of the young boy who btw is vaping outside the store and Pedro, the rotund manager at this store. A small, senior coffee here is $1.39. I hope this woman has not overcharged or intimidated any other patrons here at this McDonald’s: 7085...
Read moreSo let me start up by saying I’ve never been here before I go through the drive-through and on the picture it shows the 123 dollar menu but nowhere on it doesn’t show what burgers and fries you can get it only shows drinks or at the bottom breakfast food so I explained it to the gentleman that’s in the speaker and he says I have to download the app there’s nothing he can do and they don’t have a paper menu for me to look at at the window so I was like all right cool so I drove around To the window. He tells me about the deal I get the double cheeseburger deal buy one get one for a buck. Also at the second window when I picked up my food, the manager told me that yea they don’t have any menus now the only way you can look at the menu as if you go on your phone and download the app which is cool But then why even have any menu at all through the drive-through if you only offer it online so I Pulled in the parking lot to eat my food, While it was still warm, whoever made the burger made it completely sloppy. There was ketchup all over the wrapper messy. The burger wasn’t even on the bun completely.. The burger tasted like somebody seasoned it with salt over and over and over and over Glad I had a bottle of water in my car. Food was nasty. The burger was sloppy and nasty and completely over salted. Been there once and...
Read moreArrived about 9:45 PM on a Friday evening with approximately 15-20 people dining in and about 5 cars in the drive-thru.
My wife ordered her meal then I ordered mine. My wife asked the cashier, who by the way was a manager because he had the black vest and collar shirt on with no name tag. (everybody else was wearing the other type of uniform) The manager then told us the price of the food without asking if our order was complete very expeditious and rushing manner. We added to the order and asked if they could break a hundred dollar bill, he replied yes. After handing the manager the $100 dollar bill, he hands me the change in my hand ($76.40) without counting out the change. He then very rudely went on to the next customer as I laid out the money on the counter to verify if the change was correct.
Typically in cash sales, if the change is over $20 the cashier should count the change out, not hand the a bunch of bills without change verification. As a manager he should have known that... Bad business practices are everywhere and it sucks to be shortchanged. I have had it happen, so I always make sure I check. Thankfully in this case the change was correct, but it was the manner in which this was handled and the rudeness which made this visit to this McDonald's...
