Oggi's Sports | Brewhouse | Pizza — Restaurant in San Diego

Pretty good food, but service was AWFUL!! My family and I (including 3 young kids) visited San Diego for a week and dined here twice as it was close to our hotel. The first night our waitress was very rude and didn’t give us the time of day; she quickly and impersonally took our order and that was the last we heard from her until she dropped off the check. We weren’t asked if we wanted dessert.

We chalked up our initial experience to a bad night for the waitress and returned a few nights later only to be treated similarly by a different waitress. The second night the waitress wasn’t rude necessarily, but we were seated in the back of the restaurant and completely forgotten about. We had to grab our own napkins from the hostess stand, and had to ask a separate waitress for drink refills.

There was a gentleman in there dining alone who was sat across from us and he was treated the same way… hidden in the back and never checked on. His beer sat empty for almost the entirety of his meal and the waitress never returned until she had the bill in hand.

I can only assume this place caters to regulars as the staff was picky with who they conversed with and provided good service to.

Huge disappointment dining here because everywhere else we visited in San Diego...

No stars if that was possible. This place is terrible between the service and the food. I’ve have only eaten at this place twice and both times they messed up my order. The second time was my last time I will ever eat here. The hostess clearly has no idea what she’s doing. A the other waitresses/hostess clearly have no cares. I ordered my food for take out and she read it back, which was fine but she didn’t understand the pizza I wanted was clearly on their menu. When I went to go pick it up it the pizza was not correct so I let them know and they offered to remake it. All they did was throw some cheese and peppers on it and throw it back in the oven. So then I had a burnt pizza with some fresh cheese and peppers. Then they prepared the wrong salad. I also ordered wings with their hot sauce on the side. They gave me ketchup. The manager was unsympathetic, she said they are working on training and they are losing money because of how many people are bringing back their food. Apparently if they are having that many issues they should conduct some type of training to help or maybe she can work the front. I’m not here to tell them how to run their restaurant, but it’s apparent that they need better customer service and...

My family and I were seated next to the bathrooms. In a dead house. Gross. We asked to move. They let us move to the corner booth where we sat and waited and waited and waited. Finally the bartender that was supposed to be getting off takes our drink order. It never got put in. My wife asked the girls at the hostess station if we can place our order. They say sure. One walks off. After ten minutes of waiting again we walked out. Just to find one waitress standing at the desk with her arms crossed not interested in working. We sat for a total of 35 minutes without being acknowledged. It got bad enough we started making paper airplanes out of the kids menus. Never had lack of service like this. And to make things worse. Another table had to ask the poor bartender that was getting off if they could order with her since the waitress had no even walked her section. This used to be a fun place to hang out. Stay away.
