My first time at Rosemarie’s! I just googled a place near me and saw that they had sliders and I thought, PERFECT! BUT FIRST, a little context about me so you get a better idea because we’re all different. I’m 5’1” and weigh 115 lb. I’m petite. Most recently, I only eat one meal a day. I get full easily so I don’t eat much. I thought sliders would be perfect. The ambiance and vibe are very cool, chill and fun at Rosemaries! Love the decore and different seating options. A bit quaint so don’t be bothered if someone passes by and accidentally nudges you. All good. ALSO DOG FRIENDLY!! I’m not sure who it was, may have been an owner or a manager but he loved my dogs and asked if he could give them bacon! They of course loved him back because of said bacon! He was very sweet and it’s always appreciated when establishments are pet friendly.
When you order, they recommend you get 2 sliders each. My friend and I thought that would be great. BUT THESE ARE NOT!… I REPEAT, THESE ARE NOT YOUR AVERAGE SLIDERS!! For me, they were huge! Although I did eat two and a half and my friend only had one and a bite of mine, what did us in were the SPICY ELOTE FRIES! I shouldn’t have had too many fries before the sliders arrived. My bad but it was worth it! The fries were delicious but to me, not so spicy.
The sliders were ordered were The Round Up, The Little Sal, Nashville Hot Chicken, and The Cajun Softshell Crab. The Wagyu beef is SO DELICIOUS, moist and flavorful! The sliders with bacon has some THIIIICK *SS BACON!! SOO gooood!! My friend had the spicy chicken and said it was too spicy (and he loves spicy), but he said it was too much. I had a bite of the softshell crab and it was good but I only had a bite and was more into my beef sliders so I can’t elaborate on the taste of the crab slider.
I also ordered the Guava Margarita (sorry, forgot to take a picture), but it was tasty, right amount of tequila and a great size!
Remember, wait for the sliders before you eat the fries first but definitely order...
Read moreMy husband stumbled upon Rosemarie’s and Chef Nick when Rosemarie’s was operating their food truck out of Harland Bay Park. My husband became a frequent customer. Fast forward, we followed Nick’s passion to his first brick and mortar in Mission Beach. While we’ve watched the business grow, the face and quality has remained the same. The sliders are life size as is the personality behind the business. This place is driven by quality and customer service. The restaurant provides everything Mission Beach needs - drinks, beers, burgers, fries, desserts, merch, etc. just steps from the beach. Not enough? They also cater! We hired the Rosemarie’s food truck on 10/21/23 for our wedding at the Coronado Marriott. They served up late night snacks and the guests LOVED it. Not only did Rosemarie’s supply/recommend 4 different sliders (more like full sized burgers) for 150+ people, but they also offered an assortment of fries. This isn’t your average food truck… They went above and beyond - they took orders, circulated the food, and socialized with our guests, creating an experience not just a service. To this day, our guests continue to mention how phenomenal the food truck was. We couldn’t be happier to be customers from the start and we are even happier to have witnessed the evolution of Rosemarie’s. We cannot recommend Rosemarie’s enough. Whether it’s a quick bite & beer in Mission Beach or catering an event - you can’t go wrong. Be sure to connect with Nick. He takes pride in his family, profession, and passion and it shows through the experience you have with...
Read moreThis place is ridiculous . My wife and family came to eat at this establishment. I caught wind of what happened after a discussion with my wife. She came here and checked it out for a couple minutes then wanted to check out another closely restaurant because she wanted to . There's nothing wrong with that. I'll get to that later. anyways she came back and said they will eat here. After ordering the food the burger came there and it was raw. still red in the middle. they called the owner or manager there which was earlier last week around. dinnertime. He immediately came out yelling and telling them that they already came in with an attitude.. wow.. furthermore don't insult my wife you garbage. She was voicing her opinion of your lackluster food that was served that evening. as can everyone when they dine out and as you do yourself I'm sure. If food is not cooked to the persons satisfaction it should be fixed, or at least remade. But saying that they're just trying to get a free meal is unacceptable. She still offered to pay for your disgusting food. Ive never been more insulted on her behalf. what kind of a manager or owner watches people and blames them that they went to look at another restaurant? who does that!!!? your a creep whoever you are. and you had the Gall to tell her to leave the restaurant and try to embarrass her. you really are the lowest person. If you want eat here and come with a family or just want to avoid any kind of insulting behavior just eat someone else and have peace. no...
