We decided to try this restaurant out before attending a concert in the adjoining Symphony Hall. The staff is friendly and attentive. The restaurant/bar area is very well maintained and clean but the atmosphere is a bit stark and the architecture is generic Marriott. It could be anywhere. I’ve attached a photo of the current food menu. I had the Chicken Pesto flatbread , which had a reasonable amount of chicken and a nice flavor. My wife ordered the Carne Asada tacos, which are sold individually. They’re huge! Sadly, the Carne Asada was more like ground beef. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that it’s basically a bar menu, but hoped for more from the hotel’s only restaurant.

While staying at the Marriott Pulse Vacation Club in San Diego, we stopped in here for a drink before heading out to dinner. They have a nice cocktail list, some top shelf offerings, and Vern – a very enthusiastic bartender! The drinks he prepared for us were great and his service was excellent. The venue is rather blah, boring, and echoey loud, as it’s a bar in the middle of what looks like a large, high-roofed room. We stopped back in the next morning for coffee and the staff was helpful and friendly. They offer a full breakfast, as well as fruits, snacks, pastries, etc.

We stayed at the Marriott and really enjoyed breakfast and dinner at Shake. They serve Starbucks coffee, smoothies, and American breakfast fare. For dinner, the wine selection was good. The French Rosé I had was excellent and paired well with their Caprese salad. Our server, Vernon, was fantastic. I would definitely eat here again.

Excellent customer service. We arrived shortly before the breakfast menu transitioned to lunch and the kitchen was backed up. However the waitstaff were very accommodating and kept us up to date on the status of our food. The restaurant is very pretty and chic. The food menu as well as the drinks are very appealing and appetizing but above all...satisfying. I would recommend this to friends and family. Our bartender Posey was so awesome. We ordered horchata pancakes, crabcakes eggs Benedict and amazing chicken and biscuits. While I agree that this is more of a restaurant than a bar, its quality is worth it for the folks lodging...
