First Lutheran Church — Attraction in San Diego

I have been wantting to had that me and along with so many others that it is blessing to have this church around and all those that help out all the people that are in need, I was really impressed to see many coming together to help lots of families and also those that were needing to feed...

These guys have been feeding large groups of homeless and underprivileged locals twice a week for over a quarter century now. Some months back they hooked up a new chef who has been turning out some REALLY Good - even gourmet - meals with experienced creativity & plenty of TLC. OPEN TO EVERYONE! A welcoming, friendly, and socially aware congregation.

I found First Lutheran while in town on business. I was pleasantly surprised to find a welcoming and affirming congregation. The members are engaging and open to visitors. The pastor is also very approachable and genuinely interested to meet new people. The sermon about Wilderness was thought provoking and exactly what I needed to hear.

Well worth a visit for those looking for spiritual enrichment...
