After an afternoon drive along Sunset Cliffs, taking in the stunning ocean views and golden hues of the Pacific, we found ourselves craving Thai flavors that would match the beauty of the sunset. Soi OB delivered exactly that. The moment we stepped inside, the aroma of sizzling spices and freshly cooked meats was enough to confirm we had made the right choice. With so many tempting options on the menu, we decided to start with a few dishes that promised both crunch and rich flavor. Spicy Chicken Wings – These golden crispy wings offered a perfect balance of heat and flavor. The crunch is satisfying, and the sauce packs a punch without overwhelming the palate Thai Crispy Chicken Wings – these wings are fried to perfection, served with a house sweet sauce that enhances their savory goodness. The texture is light and crispy, making them an excellent appetizer. Khao Moo Kob Moo Dang– Perfectly fried crispy pork belly, served over rice with a rich, flavorful sauce. The pork belly is beautifully crisp, making each bite a delightful experience. Overall Experience Soi OB impresses with its dedication to authentic Thai street food. The ingredients are fresh, the flavors are bold, and the service is friendly. Whether you're craving crispy wings or a hearty rice dish, this spot delivers a satisfying meal in a laid-back setting.

Save your money and your stomach. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE QUALITY OF FOOD BEING SERVED JUST MAKING MONEY OFF OF YOU. I am certain nobody working here has their food handlers card. We ordered a Crying Tiger bowl and asked for it Medium. When we got home it was still completely raw on the inside. Called, let them know and they said they would make us another. When we got there they treated us horribly when trying to give them back the food and show them the issue. They gave us a half order and told us to eat the rest of the bowl with the raw meat in it... extremely unprofessional. Once getting home with our SECOND crying tiger we realized they had cooked it so long it had practically turned to rubber. What do they not understand about "medium"? We called them once again and the lady ignored our number. Called from another phone and she immediately answered. Talk about horrible customer service. We asked for our money back and she acted like she would have to talk to her boss, when we explained how food handlers should know better than this and asked if they had their food handlers card she all of the sudden became able to give us our refund right away. I will literally never come back. If I could give zero stars I would. Waste of my time and money. Lost my appetite and can't imagine even feeding this food to my dog.

I've been searching for moo ping like the kind I had in Bangkok, Thailand, and that search ended here! The moo ping transported me back to the moment I tasted that sweet smoked pork hot off the street food grill. We also tried the fried tofu; It was nice and crispy. The Holy Basil pork dish was super savory and flavorful. The tom yum noodles were delicious as well. But the absolute winner was the moo ping. I'll be coming back for that often! This restaurant is an order and sit counter, so do not expect anyone to come get your order! Bonus: Great parking!

The 1 star is not for the food! The food is amazing and tasteful being from NYC we know authentic Thai food. The 1 star is for the service. We noticed the heavyset cashier treated us differently than the customers that came afterwards. When she took our order it was straight to the point and she made it seem as if she had a hard time understanding us when our first language is English . Her vibe didn’t feel right but I let that go. I’m an American Hispanic Muslim who wears a headscarf and unfortunately I sometimes don’t get the best reactions but I keep it moving. We decided to eat in which did not seem pleasant to her. We parked in the back and I simply asked her if I still had to pay for parking due to it being a weekend and it being 8pm. Her answer was ā€œwe don’t pay for parking!!!ā€. I was not expecting the restaurant to pay for parking I was asking because I didn’t want to get a ticket. Since we were just going to get take out originally. We didn’t order drinks because we were going to grab take out as I mentioned. My husband asked her for 2 Sprites and she was staring at him as if he asked her for diamonds rings. While we were eating we then noticed she was extremely friendly, helpful, suggestive laughing which all customers should experience. The chef was great although she walked over to us last after passing us first. She went outside first to ask the other customers how their food was. I don’t want to say to all Muslims don’t go here but if this occurs again it means that our (Muslims) business is not welcomed ...
