Unless you're willing to wait in line, I'd avoid this location and go to the one that's just a few blocks over (there's one in Costa Verde shopping center, UTC mall, and La Jolla Village).
This one is conveniently located in Vons, BUT if there's only one person working at the stand (it's just a stand, and not a physical building), you'll be caught waiting forever as that person plays different roles of taking new orders at the register and making the drinks. The area where the line forms is not that inviting either. The stand is awkwardly placed in front of one of the two Vons entrances.
No offense to the employees who work here. I'm sure they're nice people, and great at what they do. Just.... I hate how it's being run. There should ALWAYS be 2 people at this spot so the line flows better, and the wait...

I realized it and walked back, apologize to the Barista about I am sorry for what happens, and ask her to pay for the drink I had accidentally grabbed. However, she looked at me with utterly disgust and yelled "get out of here" in front of other customers. I was very shamed and embarrassed from this experience. Yes it was my fault to grab the wrong drink, and I am definitely willing to compensate it, but the reactions I am getting is really crossing the line, it is merely full of disrespect.    Read moreIâm writing to express my disappointment with the service I received this morning at your Ralph store 108. I ordered a regular coffee, and it took over 5 minutes to get it. And then the barista, Stephanie asked me again what I had ordered despite having already taken my request earlier.
This kind of service feels unprofessional and shows a lack of attention to customer experience. Many of us work hard and pay for our coffee with the expectation of prompt and courteous service. Waiting unnecessarily and repeating an order is frustrating and unacceptable.
