The food here is pretty good, at least speaking to pizza specifically as that's what we ordered. We visited ZoZo's around lunch, which I'm sure why it was loud & crowded. When we walked in, there was a huge crowd, very loud & in the way if you were trying to grab bottled drinks, which I was. When it was pur turn to order, it was pretty easy. I personally enjoyed the cheese calzone (one is a good snack size, but people may want two). Some of my family enjoyed a pepperoni pizza, while I had my calzone & another had a slice of sausage pizza. Overall the food was good & hot. The server who dropped off our food, was maybe rushing but he didn't greet us or come off friendly. He announced what he had & just dropped each item on the table without seeing who had what, didn't ask if we needed anything else or tell us where to grab napkins if needed (there are no napkin dispensers at the tables or up front). That experience was a bummer but the food was good. When we were finishing, the lady who was also running cashier came by to dispose of our trash (rush had slowed down at this time). That was kind of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe customer service at this restaurant is nonexistent. I shouldāve known by the way the cashier rudely turned away a couple in front of me, that my experience here would be unpleasant. We ordered 2 14ā pizzas for pickup but upon arrival we realized our order was incorrectly written down as there was one 14ā and one 18ā pizza. The business had already charged us almost $60 for just 2 pizzas when all of the mistakes were realized and explained to the employees. The response given to me was āwell, what exactly do you expect us to do about that then.ā As a customer, I should not have to create a solution for a business that over charged & incorrectly placed & made my order. The employee told me ānothing can be done since the āgoodfellasā pizza is a custom pizzaā and that all I can do is ājust take the pizza.ā The overall experience at this place was horrific. I will never be retuning & I will ensure that all friends & family who come to Mission beach stay far away...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came here because it was a short walk from the hotel that my conference was being held, and I was craving a slice of pizza. They had a sign on their window advertising slices of pizza starting at $5. The slice of pizza I got ended up being more than $5 because I got a specialty slice. I also got a bottle of Jarritos, a regular soda, and was charged about $6 for it, which I was pretty astonished by. I know soda is expensive, but that seemed extraordinarily expensive for a bottle of soda. I got a slice of spicy soppressata with basil and some sort of oil (I forgot which kind of oil it was). I thought it was really good and different from that pizza I usually get. The pizza was great and the crust was the right amount of crispiness. It was very flavorful and a little spicy, as promised. The person who was working was super friendly and nice. Overall, I really enjoyed coming to...
