This was the absolute worst meal I have ever paid for, and we eat out A LOT. Service is slow, but post-Covid I wouldn't hold that against a small restaurant if the food was palatable - this was NOT. A few bites into his sausage & peppers my husband realized it was his meal that had been mistakenly delivered to the table behind us. After being partially eaten from & returned (when their correct order arrived) we were served the same dish moments later, with only 4 small pieces of flavorless sausage in it. (This revelation I wish he had shared before I reluctantly choked down half my meal just hoping to leave soon and go back to work). The sugary marinara sauce is what one would expect in a hospital cafeteria and both meals were drenched in it. We politely paid our check and boxed up hubby's dinner, which he promptly tossed in the trash outside by the car. To top it off, tonight was the first time I dined a few feet away from a small dog in a stroller being fed stinky dogfood tableside in a restaurant! An odor made even more unpleasant while eating a bad meal - or maybe the other way around! Too bad she didn't start before our food arrived, we would have left. Coming home from work to learn my husband puked up what little he did eat prompted this review. He picked this restaurant based on good recent reviews, oh how I wish he had taken the time to...
Read moreUpdate - Location is only open evenings currently, did in fact update operating hours here on Google Maps myself. Got a meatball sandwich - sauce, bread and meatballs were all very good. Very prompt service, was prepared quickly. Woman who prepared my sandwich was quite friendly. Not the best meatball sandwich I've ever had, but certainly one of the best. Would go back for another. Though location is not large, which during COVID means you will want to wait outside. Will likely return again in the future. This location has regulars, they seem to like it and employees are familiar with them. Everything considered would give 3.8 stars, don't know that will get great service or food on your visit, but figure it is good enough for the regulars to keep coming so definitely worth a visit. In all a typical Italian restaurant, very good, but not best around. First Review: Called in to place an order, no response, no message. Head to location as might be bad number. Location closed, hand written sign posted stating temporary hours, doesn't open until 4:30. I note that some reviews have responses, so owner is aware this page exists, yet does not update hours. Unfortunate, will place request with Google for edit to hours. Hope this isn't an indication of how this restaurant...
Read moreFirst time here. We saw a review on facebook and decided to try it out. Very small place but cute. We walked in and was left standing not knowing if we sit ourself and there were several tables that needed to be cleaned off. An elderly lady looked at us and did not acknowledge us so I said, shall we seat ourselfs? The lady was the owner Angela, which seemed like she was taking orders, serving and making food. We sat down with no menus and my husband had to get up and go to the counter and Angela just said can I help you? Wow. We never even got our water until 1/2 hour later. We sat at a table next to the womens bathroom and the area smelled a little of sewer which was not enjoyable. Finally she took our order. We ordered a small pepperoni pizza and shared a antipasta salad which was very good and the pizza was good. My hubby ordered to go an sausage & pepper sandwich. The sandwich not so good. It was very salty and the sausage tasted old. Service was extremely slow. We are not sure if we will give it another try or not based on...
