Iāve never been treated the way I was treated today. I ordered a matcha iced latte with vanilla syrup and when took a sip it was so bitter. I thought by going back and not even complaining about but by just ASKING for a small amount of vanilla syrup I wouldnāt be a bother but this unappealing barista by the name of SAM was the most rudest and un professional barista I have ever come across. When I approached her and asked for a little vanilla syrup in a cup she RUDELY said āItās going to be .70 cents!ā I was so confused not because of what she said I could have even given her more than .70 just to make her day a little better, but it was with the TONE and condescending smile she made. The worst part was that there WAS PEOPLE that heard who were around me and even THEY shook their head. She then offered me āSplenda or some sort of sugarā knowing I was going to say no! She smiled and was āOkay!ā And turned away. I then went back in line to PAY for vanilla syrup, a JOKE. When it hit me I ALREADY PAID for my coffee? Why should wait this LONG LINE an pay for this?! So I went back and said āYouāre charging me even after I paid?ā And she acted as if she ācouldnāt hear meā and asked āWhat?!ā And I had to repeat myself it was the GOING BACK AND FORTH for me. Sam at this point just give the 2 splashes of vanilla syrup! Itās not that serious and IT DOES NOT COME OUT OF YOUR PAYCHECK. She finally gave me a splash of it in a cup. However, this message has a for Starbucks. INSTEAD OF FOCUSING IN CHARGING FOR EVERYTHING TOWARDS YOUR CUSTOMERS I WOULD IMMENSELY RECOMMEND YOU PUTTING YOUR BARISTAS IN INTENSE CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING.
