Food wise, excellent. I’ll start by saying that. It’s a fair value and great idea if you’re looking for good omakase without paying the prices of going to a sit in restaurant.

The fish was fresh, rice was done perfectly. The flavors were delicious.

The reason for my low rating is the poor, disorganized service. I arrived at the restaurant 20 min before opening, was 8th in line. By the time I got to the counter, a gentleman just walked in for his shift. I tried to order the omakase box since many customers before me ordered the same. The guy told me, we’re sold out. I asked if they were going to make more, I was willing to wait a bit. I mean literally the restaurant opened for 5 min. That’s strange. He said, no you might have to come back, could be an hour, could be 3 hours, I can’t tell you when.

So I proceeded to order the other items, a tuna tekka don and a 5 piece sushi. When I got to the register to pay, another young lady was ringing me out. As I was paying, they brought out 5 boxes of omakase and were selling it to the people after me. I was super confused, asked to add one of those to my order, since that was what I really wanted from the start. They charged me again for the omakase, told me it’ll be a 5 min wait.

Then when the next batch of omakase boxes started coming out, instead of giving them to me as I was waiting patiently in the corner, they started giving it to people even LATER in the line up. I was like, what is happening?! I was 8th in line and everybody who arrived after me got their order and was gone before me. I had to walk back up to the counter to ask for my box before they were going to give it to me. And since the boxes came out only a few at a time, if I didn’t intervene, who knows when I’ll be getting my order. And according to the man, it could sell out any second.

Anyways, poor communication, bad service, really would deter me from coming back or recommending this place. What a shame to have that guy at...

visited from out of town and preordered an omakase set and a tekka don. they were both tasty but for the price I wasn't particularly impressed by either, I've had better quality/more creative takeout and dine-in omakase for the same price. one of the maki types in the omakase box barely had any filling in it! the wasabi and pickles included in both were delicious. i think the service model leaves a lot to be desired. even with pre-ordering you are required to wait in line, which I don't personally think makes sense. I'd have less of an issue with that if they had clear instructions on their website or in their emails - we waited in line for 45 min to pick up our preorder, and someone else who also preordered simply cut in front of the entire line and grabbed their order. we weren't sure if we were wrong for waiting in line or if he was wrong for cutting, and I don't necessarily blame him because there were no instructions anywhere nor was there any form of line control by the staff. what made it worse was that the staff told us that we should have told the gentleman to wait in line - it was our first time there and we ourselves weren't even sure about the lineup policy, and even so, it's not our job as customers to do that. staff were otherwise friendly but the atmosphere of this place is rather pretentious. i...

This take-out bento place definitely live up to the hype. We arrived at 10:55 am on a Tuesday morning. They are closed on Sunday and Monday. There were about 8-10 people already standing in front of us. The line moves pretty quickly as most customers know what they want or have an idea what they will get. The shop has a high-end clothing store vibe. It's clean and simple.

SAKE DON (L) I don't know what kind of seasoning they put on the sushi rice but it is insanely good. It's sweet and savory at the same time. Hands down the BEST torched salmon I have ever had. The fresh salmon is equally delicious and melts in my mouth. My mouth is watering just thinking about the salmon.

SUSHI 6PC & MAKI (M) The nigiri was incredibly fresh and unique. Each piece had a delicate flower or flower-shaped radish on top as decor. I admire their attention to details. The maki was perfection.

The bentos are freshly premade each day. No modifications or substitutions are available. Do not come here hungry because it is high recommended that you wait 30-60 min before consuming.

It is on the pricey side but I personally think it's very reasonable for the high quality. Strongly recommended if...
