Bite — Restaurant in San Francisco

Today two of us stepped into the empty shop in hopes of getting a couple of sandwiches during lunch break. We were looked at but never greeted by the couple of ladies behind the counter as we glanced at the menu. They didn't even bother to speak to nor walk over to us when we approached the counter to order! After several moments at the counter, we got to watch one of the ladies instantly address and then argue with a doordash delivery guy who came in over 5 minutes after we had arrived. She even came out from behind the counter to reach in & touch several items in his bag before sending him off and immediately returning to handling the pile of raw whole chickens on a cutting board placed over the handwash sink. At that, we turned around and walked out. Customer service is clearly non-existent in this establishment, the workers seem miserable, and food safety should be addressed. Thanks for helping us determine where NOT to waste our money and where to steer other people away from.

P.s. The paninis at the pizza place right next door are AMAZING!! And their customer service was the polar...

We saw the good reviews and tried it out. Unfortunately we found dead flies in our salad and a very sharp chicken bone in the wrap, threw them away before we even start eating the salad and half way through the burrito, so 1 star for the wasted $.

All the veggies were dry and looked like they were cleaned and left somewhere hours before we got them.

We got a burrito wrap, a small toast sandwich and a salad for $43 plus tip and it wasn’t worth it… (plus a $20 Uber roundtrip because we called prior and were told that it wasn’t possible to park outside to get an order which actually was and many people did it) .

The spinach tortilla, chicken and turkey were good but we hope we didn’t eat dead flies too as we didn’t really open our sandwiches to check what we’re eating.

All due respect to the effort on the business, focusing on quality over quantity will ensure...

This is the first time I've captured photos of all food items for a review. Normally, I don't hold out on the grub down. This was a late night order (after midnight) — so I wasn't expecting to receive their best work. I am blown away by the freshness, quality ingredients, and careful preparation of the food received. Let's keep it real, when ordering food so late I come across end-of-day stragglers that sat awhile, dried out, becoming stale, and quickly thrown together before closing. The food I received from Bite was made to order, and the rotisserie chicken was fresh (did I already mention this was after midnight!?). Bite won another customer for life! Thank you for serving hearty and nutritious food of this quality, especially for night owls. Keep these folks...
