They actually try to scam you at this location by charging you for things you did not order AND you don't see the charges until youre handed your receipt. They tried to charge me for extra chips and guacamole that I did not ask for and I only noticed because my total was way higher than I expected. They also charged my friend who was behind me in line for guac and chips, again she did not order this! She did not even notice until she viewed the receipt when we got home. She’s been working with customer service agents to have that charge removed and is being ghosted! They will offer a free $0.30 soda and leave the chat when she says that isn’t what shes asking for.
Every person in line (there were about four or five people behind me) noticed they were getting only half scoops of all the toppings and continuously and politely asked for a full serving. Unfortunatley I did not say anything because the employees looked visibly annoyed anytime someone requested more. The three employees working at the front would roll their eyes, loudly sigh, and give a pity quarter scoop to "appease" the customers. It felt very hostile and unwelcoming, and I can't help but think the management here encourages this kind of environment of cheating customers out of full portions to profit and hoping nobody complains if they look annoyed enough.
The employee making my bowl was also constantly confused and yelling at her coworkers. I had to correct her on what toppings I wanted three times, one of which she tried giving me a side of gauc instead of queso. She ended up throwing the guac back into the kitchen tray but charging me for it anyway!
If I was smarter I would have just left and refused to pay for what little they gave me after such a struggle to even get the correct order. The sides that came with the quesadilla were barely half filled, my bowl was also pitiful considering it costs $14 for steak.
I saw no pros to going to this location and I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE you to frequent another location or another business entirely. I normally love chipotle bowls but this place just felt so hostile and skimpy toward the people paying them.
Trying to get any refund or accommodation from customer service is impossible. My friend has talked to two agents, and my partner has talked to three via chat and one via email only to be left on read. DO NOT FREQUENT...
Read moreTHE WORST CHIPOTLE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO IN 12 YEARS!!! Every single table and even the checkout station was FILTHY with food chunks everywhere. Their queso looked like it hadn’t been moved in days looking like a thick hard paste, their sliced tomato salsa was freezing cold making my entire bowl cold and distasteful. They were out of vinaigrette, they were out of Tabasco, they didn’t have forks at the station, the sprite was out of stock. Please keep in mind that this place is fully staffed during lunch hour and they are all moving extremely slow with the line barely moving! Here comes the worst part of my experience. At checkout I am given a total, this staff member is not making any eye contact with me but instead staring at the outside like he’s caged in and can’t wait to go outside. Once I tried to hand him cash to pay for my order, he looks incredibly frustrated and rolls his eyes as he grabs my cash and reaches out around to the card machine to cancel the transaction to change it into a cash one. I asked him if he had any problems with this as he looked quite upset. He then gives me this piercing stare and says nothing. My gf watched the whole thing from the dirty table she had to clean herself and asked that we should leave. I said I didn’t want to eat in the car but she insisted as this cashier was making her feel unsafe as he keep staring at us from a distance with this criminal hateful look. We agreed to leave the store and to our surprise, the same hateful staff member happens to get on break and gets in the car parked in front of us, an older Acura of some sort. My gf then asked for me to leave immediately which I did. This happened yesterday 5/19/2024. The staff member is of brown skin of Asian/Latino descent with a unibrow with what appeared to be long hair that was braided under his work hat (not entire sure) I have never had an experience at chipotle like this. Very sad and very scary. Will...
Read moreI was in the neighborhood and was hungry. I walked to the restaurant only to be greeted by a sign that read, "WE ARE CURRENTLY TAKING ONLINE ORDERS ONLY. SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE. " I sat down outside and downloaded the app. I ordered the Whole 30® Salad Bowl, Chips and Guacamole and a 32 oz fountain drink. The guacamole was off-the-charts salty, the chips were okay and the salad (pictured) was skimpy and overly salty. When I went to the soda dispenser, I found that none of the sodas had syrup - they all ran clear. I went up to the counter to tell someone about the sodas and was told that they we're out of fountain soda syrup. I then asked why they had given me the fountain soda cup. A young man behind the counter said, "because you ordered it." The look on his face indicated a clear attempt to answer my question and in no way came across as an attempt to be snarky. Another person told me that he would be changing the soda canisters. He asked me if I wanted a bottled soda instead of the then-unavailable 32 oz fountain drink I had ordered. Despite having paid an additional fee for a 32 oz drink over their "regular" sized drink, I accepted having no real choice. I was thirsty.
IMHO, the menu price point was set at a certain level of service and that level of service was not available. Add to that the overly salty food, the failure to keep the fountain stocked, and their failure to keep the customer areas of the restaurant clean, and my 2 star rating seems generous. I won't be returning to Chipotle any time soon. And it's a shame because I used to really like their concept and their food.
