9/2/2025* This time, I tried the beef tofu soup, which tasted just ok. The broth was not rich enough, really bland. There weren't a lot of ingredients in the soup, which was a bit of a letdown. Usually, they always include an egg with the tofu soup. A bit disappointed.

11/8/2023 We ordered the Za Zang Myun, which consists of homemade noodles in black bean sauce with ground pork and vegetables. The taste was quite enjoyable, and there was really nothing to complain about. The flavor leaned slightly towards the sweeter side, which was a pleasant surprise.

I went with the Zam Pong, and I must say I absolutely loved it! This dish features homemade noodles with shrimp, squid, clam, and vegetables in a spicy beef broth soup. What really stood out were the generous portions of seafood, with at least 4 huge mussels, 4 clams, 4 shrimp, and tender squid, making it a seafood lover's dream. The Za Zang Myun noodles were perfectly cooked and complemented the dish wonderfully. The spicy beef broth had a rich, flavorful profile that added an extra layer of depth to the overall taste.

The portion size was satisfying, and the combination of seafood, noodles, and the delicious broth made for a truly enjoyable dining experience. What's more, the price is really worth it, considering the quality and quantity of the food...

I wanted to like this place as it appears to be mom and pop restaurant that’s been around forever. I remember coming here once about almost 20 years ago and the experience wasn’t too bad.

I came here last week with my ( Korean ) friend who drove from Sacramento and wanted to go authentic jajjangmyon place near Japan town after the Korean spa. We initially wanted to go chick and jajjang which was so good when I tried few month ago, however, the traffic was pretty terrible so we decided to give this place a try.

Sadly, the experience was not that great.

Food - Jajjangmyon’s sauce was not fresh, could not find any trace of veggies or meat. Not flavorful at all . Spicy seafood noodle ( jjampong) was ok , had some seafoods inside but the broth was kind of on the sweet side which is not my favorite. Sweet and sour pork - the sauce didn’t have much taste . I had to add more vinegar for sourness.

Service- non existent. We had to get up to ask for a water or check bc the lady , probably the owner of the restaurant was behind where we can’t see.

The price was reasonable but the quality of foods and service overall was subpar .

I probably will not come back here because there are so many other great jajjangmyon...

Not easy to find but the best food I've had

This place has no large or distinguishing marks but once you enter you can tell this place has someone who truly cares about the food they make. Once seated we order some of their ramen and after a bit of a wait we eat.

When the food comes we get free hot tea as well which was soothing to say the least. The ramen itself was wonderful and the best seafood ramen I've had and I don't even love seafood. The same goes for the majority of the food there. It always feels like its filled with love and it always tastes better than you expect. This is especially cause the price is honestly pretty reasonable if not cheap!

The decor is simple and that's what makes it great. It's clean but its not pompus. The k-pop in the background feels great and it again feels comforting.

Overall I couldn't recommend this place enough.

Pros: Great food Better prices Free...
