I guess I expected more from the ratings, but I found the food pretty average. We ordered the 1) XLB combo, 2) wagyu dumplings, 3) spicy siu mai, and 4) the Sichuan dan-dan noodles. 1) was pretty tasty, especially the tom yum which was maybe a little too sweet at first, but the spicy second wave was excellent; the other flavors were okay but nothing special. 2) was probably the biggest disappointment - nice texture, but the flavor was bland - if you'd told me it was pork and not wagyu I'd believe you. 3) was unique and not too spicy, but I'd swear I was eating American breakfast sausage with fennel, sage, and thyme rather than Chinese pork with chilies. 4) was the best dish of all for flavor with just enough fire to cause a little sweat on my hairline, but the texture was definitely too oily. The fresh spinach leaves were a nice update adding just a little crunch and color to this classic dish. I'm always disappointed when tea isn't included with the meal, but appreciated having a small pitcher of water instead of having to rely on the waitstaff for refills. Service was quick and friendly, but we were told to scan the QR for a menu while the table next to us was offered paper menus. The restaurant is big and bright - a very pleasant setting. Everything cost $62 (incl tax/ tip). Not sure I'll rush back to this place, but I'd be willing to give them a second try...

Good: The ordering experience was all digital so it was easy to place and order and get the food to your table I liked the beef noodle soup a lot, the noodles were very chewy and also the flavor of the soup was good and not too salty The XLB assorted variety was so fun - I liked each one including the spicy one, it wasn't too spicy The mapo tofu was a surprise hit! I liked how we paired it with rice and how savory it was. The inside is like a nightclub mixed with a casual diner, it's pretty unique
Bad: Hard to get the servers to come to you, we had to flag them each time to get us something
Overall this was a fun casual Chinese dimsum experience, but overall felt like I wouldn't come again since it's pretty far from my stomping grounds and a bit of a journey and trek to get...
Read moreVery nice little spot. The service was extremely fast. The two of us had ordered and finished eaten within half an hour, but never felt rushed. We ordered from our phones at the table and the first dish was out within five minutes. The servers are very nice and efficient.
We ordered regular soup dumplings and the combo soup dumplings. The regular ones were flavorful and has plenty of soup, with only a few breaking. The spicy ones and tom yum dumplings both had a good flavor. The pork, shrimp, and chive dumplings were very fresh, and the siu mai were meaty and great. The cucumber salad had a lot of sesame oil on it, and was a nice contrast to heavier dishes. Finally, I really loved the fried crab cheese puffs, which were flat, flaky, and surprisingly light with their tasty dipping sauce. I could have eaten way...
