Jay’s Grill — Restaurant in San Francisco

Everything on the menu is a hit. Not kidding. My neighbors/friends and I live across the street in the NEMA building and Jay’s has become a staple. We eat here 2-3 times a week. We’ve tried almost everything on the menu. Every item has been fantastic, well-seasoned, and a hefty portion. From the authentic Palestinian food to the burgers and other American favorites, everything is just delicious. My favorite treats are the baklava and the smoothies are genuinely better than Jamba Juice. The price for everything is just a steal for San Francisco, it feels like robbery.

While the food is great, the family who runs this place makes this restaurant unforgettable. Jay, Jana, and Omar make you feel at home. They have made this restaurant in the center of what often times feels like a socially dead part of a tech city feel like a vibrant community. It has been such a pleasure to get to know these people over the past couple of months and it’s admirable seeing the hard work they put into their restaurant be reflected in their food and ambiance.

I recently ordered the meal for six from Jay’s Grill, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! Every dish was packed with incredible flavors, and the portions were generous enough to leave everyone satisfied. SO HAPPY THIS RESTURANT IS HERE. 1.Fresh/clean/healthy food on Market Street. Finally! There is no where else in the area to even get an affordable salad. Very affordable prices overall. Super thank for this as there is a general great variety of options too. Super friendly staff - they all deserve to succeed!

I get the Fatoush salad weekly and will continue to do so. Will eventually try more but the salad always hits the spot.
