Headed here for an early dinner on a weeknight before a theater show. I'll start with the good: the ambience is cozy small eatery with appropriate Japanese decor; the service is hospitable and friendly; the pricing was reasonable. Now here's what fell short: I spotted the pre-sliced salmon nigiri-cuts lined up in the sushi cooler which should have been a clue. Fish was not sashimi-grade (see my photo of the sashimi which seem to be uniformly cut as if using cookie cutter) and the structure and mouthfeel when chewing the fish was off (soft, almost tenderized). The rice in the rolls was missing the authentic su- (rice vinegar) of sushi seasoning alongside the traditional kombu (kelp), salt & sugar. The presentation (I'm talking about the ingredient to rice ratio and uniformity of rice around said ingredients) and slicing of the rolls (irregular) was not very professional. The tea, too, was disappointing. I expected sencha or hojicha but was presented with relatively bland and colorless tea. Ending on a high note, the best choice of the bunch were the spicy options (spicy tuna, spicy scallop), as heat and mayo can reliably make things better tasting.

I really love this place! The sushi is always fresh and delicious, and the service is always friendly and welcoming. It’s so close to my house, which makes it perfect for a nice walk with family or friends to enjoy some great sushi together. The atmosphere is cozy, and everything always feels relaxed and pleasant. Definitely one of my favorite neighborhood spots!

Found this quaint little spot as I was craving sushi for lunch! Everything was delicious and very well priced. We got gyoza, a volcano roll and a dragon roll. Seemed like most people were picking up takeout at lunch, so we had the restaurant basically to ourselves. I saved this spot so I can come back next time I’m in the area! 100% recommend!

We had dinner here the place was pretty empty, witch made us a little bit concerned but we still gave it a shot! we had sushi rolls 1 -10 i would give it a 6 it was ok not thing out of this world. shrimp tempura: the batter needs to be more crunchy it was a little sad but we eat it. Nigiri was good just make sure to tell them no wasabi incase you dont like it they put it in between the rice and salmon first time for me to see that. I was also concerned that i think they heat up the soups in the microwave i heard the microwave in the background so maybe the cook was to lazy to heat it up i mean we were the only ones there. The waitress was really nice super attentive!! 5...

I've ordered 4-5 times from this place. Food quality and price are great. However tonight the pickup line was wild. Was told to wait 8 mins (already ordered 40 mins ago), and when I came back there was 3 people in front of me and people skipping the line to get in the restaurant. I waited 10 more mins until I managed to get in front and get my food which was ready. Please get your pickup process in order, or hire more staff to accommodate influx of customers, this is not acceptable...
