Bazaar Cafe hosted our engagement party in their incredible garden.
I can’t imagine a better place to host a gathering of 10-30 people.
Their garden is beautiful and organic with plenty of books and crannies. It was a great place to host a party.
Somehow the garden is always 5-10 degrees warmer than the rest of the city. It blocks the wind and keeps everyone cozy.
We asked them to create a spread for us and they dazzled us with so many bite sized, delicious snacks for our guests. From a charcuterie board to bite sized Bundt cakes to buttermilk biscuits. They went above and beyond what could be expected.
Oh and have I mentioned the cafe supports local artists and musicians?? It’s a cornerstone of the Richmond community. And we were so happy to celebrate in a place not only aligned with our values but where we know our money will help support the artists in our neighborhood.
If I sound overly enthusiastic, it’s only because this is my favorite place in the city. Staffed by people who will get to know you and work with you to help share this incredible space for...

I’m always respectful, I tip generously, and I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. But this will be my last visit.
These patterns may be subtle—but...

It looked like it was closed (since curtains were closed over), but if you encounter that same issue don't let it deter you! The inside was eclectically decorated, and classic music filled the interior (had I brought something to work on, I'm sure I would have been as focused as ever!). The coffee, too, was very enjoyable. It is simple, but just what I was looking for. The real jewel of this cafe is the garden area in the "backyard." It was beautifully landscaped, and super relaxing (there was almost zero city noise!). In summary, if you're in the neighborhood, take a coffee break at...
