Fast. Could be better with a full bar - love a Bloody Mary option :) Fresh squeeze juice right in front of me. Good coffee cake. I got the pancake combo. And although it’s s’posed to come with scrambled eggs, he let me modify to over medium. The latte was great, and served in a huge heavy mug - perfect alternative to the tiny cups or worst paper cups most places do these days. Also, obsessed with the accuracy of ChatGPT. I asked to write a review for this place - super true: Mo'z Cafe is a cozy and charming breakfast and brunch spot located in the heart of San Francisco's Pacific Heights neighborhood. The cafe has a warm and inviting atmosphere with a decor that exudes a chic and contemporary feel. The menu at Mo'z Cafe offers a wide selection of breakfast and brunch items, including classic favorites like pancakes, French toast, and eggs Benedict, as well as more unique dishes like the "Breakfast Sushi," which is a creative take on eggs and bacon presented in a sushi roll. All of the dishes are made with high-quality ingredients and are beautifully presented. I particularly enjoyed the avocado toast, which was topped with perfectly ripe avocado, cherry tomatoes, and feta cheese, and served on a slice of artisanal bread. The coffee at Mo'z Cafe is also excellent, with a range of blends and brewing methods to choose from. The service at Mo'z Cafe is friendly and attentive, with staff who are knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations. The cafe can get quite busy during peak hours, but the wait times are usually reasonable, and it's worth it for the delicious food and cozy ambiance. Overall, I highly recommend Mo'z Cafe for a relaxed and delicious breakfast or brunch experience in San Francisco. It's a great spot to enjoy a leisurely meal with friends or family, or to catch up on work while sipping a cup of coffee and enjoying a delicious meal.

I am visiting San Francisco and my wife and I decided to try breakfast at this place. The food was delicious! I had the Italiona and she had Moz pancake breakfast. As we were eating one of the employees thought it was a good idea to start mopping the bathrooms and cleaning while we were eating and the smell was AWFUL!!! I asked of the employees(cashier) to shut the door and ventilate! She shut the door but the mopping employees reopened the door and they all began speaking in spanish about the situation. Our server then went to the main door and opened for ventilation (she was very nice). I immediately asked for boxes and bags to leave. The cashier gives me everything I requested. I tried to explain to her that the food was delicious but mopping at 11am is inappropriate especially it the smell of a nasty bleachy mop enters the main dinner area and she proceeds to justify that we have to clean our bathrooms! 🤔 Now its 11 am in California, your restaurant has been open for a few hours plus should have been cleaned yesterday once you all closed and you think its a great time to clean the bathroom! Food was great but i will NOT go there ever again! Cheers to San Francisco Moz Cafe......bad experience!!!!! On 5th St.

Very disappointed to say the least. Walked up to this place because of the good reviews and the other place I really wanted to eat at was closed. I ordered a triple decker turkey club sandwich which suppose to come with chips or fruit. I didn’t get any of the sides. The sandwich itself was not a triple decker by any means. You can see it in the picture. The only fresh thing in it was toasted bread. The meats felt not fresh and the biggest bummer of it all the cheese!!! The cheese felt like it was laying out in the open for weeks. It felt like a piece of plastic. There were only two customers in this place whom were dining in. My take out order was a complete disappointment. I do not know how they got all these good reviews or if today was one of those days when someone wasn’t up to doing their job. But I do not recommend eating there. The sandwich and cup of orange juice cost me 25$. Sandwich went in the trash and orange juice was ok.

I barely have words to adequately praise Mo'z Cafe and the exceptional experience I had just now. I was beyond embarrassed this morning when I realized I had left my credit cards at home and didn't have enough cash in my wallet to cover the breakfast and coffee I had just ordered at the counter of Mo'z Cafe. My face flushed with a crimson glow and my tongue disconnected from my brain and tied itself in a knot. Eventually I was able to articulate something like "just the coffee, please. To go." Self-conscious and flustered, I wanted to bolt asap. But the kind and friendly man who had greeted me with a huge smile before taking my order, was now at the register as I fumbled sheepishly with the insufficient cash in my wallet. Turns out this was Mo himself. Without hesitation or any hint of rancor he held out his hand and said just pay whatever I could. I stammered in protest but his hand flexed, indicating I had no choice in the matter. As I handed over cash equal to roughly half of my bill, I asked for the exact total so I could return later to make up the difference. He shook his head, smiled, and said, "you're good." Then he added, matter-of-factly, "Would you like cream with your coffee?" "No, thank you. Just black." "Okay. Have a seat & I'll bring your food to your table."

This sweet and sincere act of kindness touched me deeply. I am so grateful for the generosity, grace, and tact I was afforded in that moment of embarrassment. Thank you, Mo!

PS. The French toast and coffee were fantastic! PPS. I just remembered I have my PayPal account in my Google wallet on my phone! I hope he'll let me pay! PPPS. Not surprising, Mo's response to me, offered with another smile and a handshake,...

This place is extremely mediocre for the price. The cooked food is not worth it; pancakes tasted rubbery and dry and sides were barely seasoned. Things did not seem too fresh. I ate breakfast there twice and vowed to never buy an entree there again.

I live a few blocks away so I come in for their pastries/coffee cake often, usually for a late lunch/snack around 1-2pm. 8 out of 10 times, they will be closed WAY before their listed closing hours; ie. 1.5hrs before listed closing time! It happened to me again today 12/27/22, 1hr10mins (1:50pm) before their "daily closing time" of 3pm (they even just updated their hours a few weeks back). Absolutely ridiculous and extremely unreliable; they are located in a busy spot downtown with lots of foot traffic (right across the street from the mall). There were multiple employees just sitting there at a table today watching me stand outside while I was trying to mouth through the window that I only wanted the pastries that were already out on the counter. I even had cash! I will find a recipe online and start making myself some at home to avoid this consistent headache with this restaurant.

Only adding one star for the really friendly younger male cashier, and the delicious NYC style crumb cake (even though it's not house made, which may be a good thing in...
