Sam's Chowder House — Restaurant in San Francisco

Always love a good lobster roll so we tried this vendor at a Sat night Warriors game. The lobster roll was refrigerator cold and flavorless. The chowder was served cold - maybe at 80 degrees. I took it back and she apologized, however went to the same warmer unit (there was only one) and brought me another cold chowder. It wasnt busy so cannot understand how they ruined such a simple task. She knew it was cold and offered to exchange it, but since they were out of their 3rd dish (crab fries) and the other 2 dishes were stone cold it was a kind but...

Ordered early since we didn't know the line. They took too long to get our food out for the game and we might as well have not ordered ahead. The food was disappointing too. The "poke bowl" I ordered wasn't even an actual poke bowl, it was just chips and some seasoned raw tuna sprinkled on top. They took too long and we missed the first 5 minutes of the Playoffs game. Got to try lobster rolls. It is fresh and very good.

Instead of typical sport event food, hot dog, hamburger, pizza, etc….
