Gave one star because I had no other option. But this chick-fil-a has the absolute worst customer service!!!!!! The lady working the register had the worst personality ever! I get it if you’re having a bad day you might not be the friendliest but this lady I’m pretty sure absolutely hates her job. She should really think about finding something else to do because working with customers is definitely not a specialty for her. Simple things like no ice in the lemonades was rocket science for her even after she asked twice and put ice in the drinks right after my daughter said no thank you. She also decided to make a remake about how much food my daughter was ordering, 5 meals, because there are 5 people in my family but instead of thinking it’s for a whole family she decides to say “wooow 5 meals” rudely to my daughter. We shouldn’t all have to go wait in the line and anyways if someone wants to order 5 meals for themselves, so what they’re the one’s paying for the food, there’s no need to be so ugly and rude. Looking at the receipt the name Marivic (470726) is at the top so I’m assuming that is the name of this women that made this experience at Chick-fil-A after a long day of flying and finding out our next flight has been delayed a few hours...
Read moreWhile I understand that this is not your usual Chick-fil-A establishment (San Jose airport location), I still expected a higher level of service than what was actually provided. No greeting, no thank you, no "my pleasure", no how can I help you, no "welcome, how may I help you" greeting, no greeting (not even a hello) period (I stood there awkwardly for a few seconds waiting for the server to say something, which he never did), nobody asked if I needed sauce or ketchup (I had to go back to the counter to ask...awkward to do so since there was such a long line), the sweet tea was bland (I ended up not drinking most of it until after my 1.5 hour plane ride home and added sweetener when I got home), chocolate chip cookie was hard and crumbled when I bit into it, fries looked like they were refried (dark brown and hard, not golden yellow/crisp on outside and soft on the inside like normal), no napkins were in my bag, no smiles (everyone looked so serious and stressed, yes I get it, there was a long line and it was busy...but that's how it's like at the usual restaurants too), professionalism was non-existent...I felt I was visiting a lower tier fast food place and not CFA. Worst CFA experience ever. Not close to being representative of the usual CFA...
Read moreIf you have never tried a Chick-fil-A sandwhich, do not try one at this airport location. The service is bad, as can be expected from non-CFA employees. They actually are union airport food service workers. Rude, slow and impatient. Thank goodness the line was short. I was fifth in line and ordered the same as the four folks ahead of me. I could see all 5 sandwhiches and fries in the heat lamp area from the time I got into line. The one worker who was handing out the food would fill one order, walk around with her large drink and then fill another. No new food came out from the kitchen. Of course the normally crispy chicken was limp and soggy after its long wait in the line.
The real Chick-fil-A experience is much better than this. Courteous, happy employees serving great chicken sandwhiches. While I am glad for the opportunity to eat something different at the airport, the overall experience is not up to the high...
