Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in San Jose

I really wish leadership would look at the reviews here recently. There needs to be a change. This is the THIRD TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED to us here, so we will no longer be coming. We placed an online order today, 12/1 at 5:30 pm. When we got it, the food was entirely different than what we ordered. Half our ingredientes in BOTH MEALS were missing and replaced with other random things. It’s like whoever made the food just kinda threw a little of this and a little of that with no regard to what we actually ordered. People work hard for their money, and when they spend that money on food that is completely different than what they ordered because some teenager didn’t care enough to read the order, that’s not okay.

I will not be coming here anymore and I will make sure that everyone I know avoids this...

I ordered my food an hour before pick up time. Got there at 11:45 am which was the time I chose to pick up my food. When I got there to wait, turns out they never got my order. Lady asked what I ordered and she copied the order from my phone. Email recipt. She said she will work on it. I wanted another 5 minutes and finally got my food at 12pm. Walked out and checked my order. She forgot the chips and dip. I went back and she gave it. I went back to work to eat and she for got the sour cream and instead of putting the sauces on the side she put them in and made the burrito bowl all wet (reason why i ask for it on the side). I hate to complain but so many things went wrong. She copied my recipt... did she not? I told her to put the sauces on the side like it says and yet she messed that up. Not...

A lot of people know what to expect from Chipotle by now. Good food, reasonable prices, and yes, we all know that guac is extra. However, this review is specific to this location. Generally this is a great Chipotle, and the staff are always friendly. It can get busy, especially at an event day at the SAP Center. Since it's only a short walk from the SAP Center, most people opt to get a quick meal here before heading to their event. So if you are coming on an event day, especially in the evening, be aware that the line might be longer. Also, sometimes this location runs out of some ingredients like guac or veggies (both staples in my average Chipotle order), which can be disappointing, thus the 4 star rating.
