Something is going on. This place used to make very good coffee, but lately, the quality has been going quickly downhill. Maybe it's the recent employee turnover, but coffee is tasting less creamy, more burnt, and bitter in a bad way. Flavored lattes are getting like one pump of flavor. The oatmilk was chunky, and the chocolate drinks tasted spoiled. I brought a few friends and later a few coworkers in, and we've had to go remind them to make our sandwich orders. One time, we waited 20 minutes before we realized they completely forgot us. This happened not once but 3 different times/visits. I get people are new, but I don't know if I want to wait through their growing pains. Fix the expediting process, please, and have a few taste testing barista workshops because I really liked this place. I feel kinda dumb being like-this place is great! Just to have everyone in my party make a disgusted face and judging my taste. I don't even care if they're friendlier. You could whip my drink across the counter at my face as long as my coffee tastes as good as the $$ price tags suggest it should. Or, if it's gonna be sludge, make it a 5...

Crema has two locations in downtown San Jose. This one, which opened November 2017, is about 3 blocks from the other cafe and much larger in space. I ordered a single latte, which was great—the right temperature, made with fresh beans. I also experienced excellent service.

Why did I deduct one star? The spotty WiFi and the Viet coffee are the culprits. The Vietnamese coffee might have been modified for the mostly non-Vietnamese clientele. Many people order the coffee cold (cafe sua da), but “some like it hot” because authentic cafes will bring it to you while it’s being made. The advantage of this service is you can determine how long you want the Viet coffee to drip into the condensed milk in your glass cup. To me, it’s poetry in motion, but others might not have the time to wait.

My advice is twofold: 1) make Vietnamese coffee the old-school, authentic way or not at all; and 2) replace the tiny Dixie cups next to the water container with glasses and ensure the container has water....

I've always drive by and see all the people dr iij nkjng and gave a good time out the lil battery shop, and I always wanted to go once I had the chance.today i finally went in the mid morning, and got a carmel macchiato with a fresh bagel. Its was really delicious. I really enjoyed myself there. However But as soon as I was about to get off the top chairs by the front window, my leg got caught between the bar and the chair and I fell.. I was in so much pain. My leg was hurting so bad.when I turned away, people were looking at me and didnt ask if I was okay.
