Five Guys Burgers falls incredibly short of its reputation with dry, flavorless patties that leave much to be desired. The disappointment doesn't end there; their fries, often a beacon of hope in the realm of fast-food, arrive extremely burnt, with an off-putting dark oil coating that screams neglect. The overall appearance of the fries matches the lackluster taste, making the entire experience unappetizing from the get-go. What truly adds insult to injury is the exorbitant pricing for these subpar offerings. The value for what you receive feels like a punch to the wallet, leaving customers wondering if there was a mix-up at the cash register.

For those seeking a satisfying burger experience, Five Guys Burgers is a place best avoided. The dryness of their patties is almost legendary in its disappointment, lacking any juiciness or flavor that one would expect from a burger joint. Pair this with the sorry state of their fries—charred to a crisp with an unappetizing appearance—and you have a recipe for dining disaster. It's a shame that such steep prices accompany such lackluster quality, leaving customers feeling cheated out of a satisfying meal.

In a world filled with delicious burger options at varying price points, Five Guys Burgers falls flat on both quality and value. With dry, tasteless patties, burnt-to-a-crisp fries, and prices that border on the absurd for what is served, it's a wonder this chain continues to draw customers. Save your money and taste buds by opting for one of the many other burger joints that offer better quality and a more enjoyable dining experience. Five Guys may have its fans, but for discerning burger enthusiasts, it's an establishment that should be approached with caution—or better yet,...

5 Guys is really not my favorite but everyone i know, just loves them. To me, they rank somewhere along side of In & Out Burger. I even get the two confused at times because they are both fast food places that serve bland burgers & over salted fries. I think I like the House sauce that In & out Burger will give me, if I remember to ask for it but 5 Guys has Superior Fries, by far. Infact their fries are decent. I guess it boils down to the fact that I am not a huge fan of fast food, in general, so it's almost silly of me to Review any fast food restaurant. I like the Location of the 5 Guys on the corner of the Alameda & Race but the parking can be a little strained, unless you park in back. Better yet, if you live in the neighborhood, I recommend you walk. Anyways, they are local, so support them & chose their Burgers over some franchise that is on every corner, of every City in America. If I had to chose a favorite cheap & fast burger joint, it would be 5 Guys because they are in my hood & their fries are better then most. I don't know what else to say? It's really difficult for me to get excited about cheap, processed fast food & I feel like it's my personal responsibility to not ever recommend that anyone eat that kind of meal ever. It's just unhealthy and it's not going to make you feel good to eat all that salt, grease and pseudo meat but if you are craving junk food, I say that, this...

I am a carnivore. I needed to get a quality meal based on meat, and from my years of experience going to 5 Guys with my kids on Fridays (we called if Five Guys Fridays), I knew I could count on a juicy double with sides I like. Since I am a no carb eater I knew that these guys would have no problem making me a lettuce wrap. I had the bacon burger with mushroom and roasted jalapeno with some mayonaise, wrapped in lettuce. That really filled the bill for my needs.

As a carnivore, I generally eat in a 2 hour window between 6 and 8 PM. I had been rescuing my mom who had to pull over on her way to drop a friend at the airport in Santa Clara because her radiator blew it's top. I went to help my mom with the tow, but they said it would be 84 minutes and I needed to eat, SE we drove down the Alameda and thank goodness we ran into a 5 Guys because I was very hungry (7 PM already and 24 hours since my last meal).

That bacon burger was so tasty. The Five Guys meat is always great! Really satisfying. Hard to pass on the fry's and peanuts but, my health is so much better off just eating the main course.

Thanks Five Guys, for the quality of your service and products. I did notice the prices were about 150% of what they used to be, but in this Inflation, and with the current leadership in this nation, what can you expect but pain and more...

The service here is horrible I ordered for for and my coworker and we ordered a large fries and was given this. I was told by the employees that is the correct amount of fries for a large. A large is 8 dollars and the cup isn't even full. So I submitted and complaint and the gm told me to come in and they will give me a free meal to compensate. So a few days later I go to get the free meal and showed the employee the email and she tell me that idk that we do and asked me to pay for the food. Even though I have an email from her GM saying the food was supposed to be free. Horrible service and horrible communication.

This Five Guys location does not let me down every single time I visit. Its proximity to Diridon Station and San Jose State using public transportation and scooter makes it an inviting place to dine, especially after a long, tough day at school. I would usually dive down on peanuts as an appetizer, but on this night, I went straight for my favorite bacon cheeseburger and Cajun fries, washed down with Coke. I should consider having this as my pre-birthday dinner as well.
