You must read to the end of this post..... sometimes little things do make a difference..... here's some big and little things that I experienced at this location...... Start to finish.....
(1st visit) 2/25/24 This Denny's is by far the worst service I've ever received from any restaurant at any time..... I arrive about 2:30am stood by the sign that reads "please wait for host to be seated" for about 10 minutes before I sat down next to the sign to wait another 20 minutes.... I watched two people come in for orders that were helped promptly..... And 9 people that were seated that all came through the door after me.... The last was a 6 person group that was seated right behind where I was.... Before I got up grabbed a menu and sat down at the table across the aisle from them where the dirty dish cart rested.... Facing the kitchen door and register..... Both waiter and waitress walked by me several times.... The 6 person group was waited on and had their order taken before I was even approached.... The waitress reluctantly stopped at my table and asked to take my order.... I asked for coffee..... She walked away rolling her eyes..... I had to stop them for a refill which again she rolled her eyes...... I saw about 5 more come through the doors after I was sitting that were also promptly waited on..... As I left I asked for the managers name..... The waiter acted like he was confused about what I asked repeating "managers name?" Looking upwards at the ceiling to the left.... Not where I was.... As I left he then asked if I would pay for the coffee..... I simple told him "for that service? No!"..... To which he then told me "don't come back", i replied, "oh you aint never gotta worry bout that!" 1½hrs there, about 40 minutes before I seated myself at a table, about 10 minutes before I got coffee from the time I ordered it, as my waitress brought out two trays of food to tables behind me..... At about 3:50am she then walked over sliding a bill receipt on my table never once actually looking at me..... Multiple customers witnessed this..... Multiple conversations were buzzing about how this was racist and discrimination..... I felt utterly disrespected and diminished and all I wanted was dinner..... And that's what in supposed to pay for at a restaurant? And at Denny's? Shameful.....
(2nd visit) 3/12/24 After talking with the District Manager for about 3 weeks, I was invited in for a talk, i pulled my daughter from school this day because it was a great opportunity for her to learn how adults handle situations in a business setting..... As we walked in I stopped just at the end of the bench seat where I was seated before waiting..... I don't think we were there more then 1min before I was greeted..... And seated before 3mins as I had asked to see District Manager..... We were seated and served promptly and the DM came her self, to wait on us..... I was literally shocked..... I've never.... N I mean never..... Had a DM wait on me or provide me service the employees should be providing service..... As though they were serving their parents, friends, loved ones, royalty..... Because we all are in our own right..... She and the staff there made us feel very comfortable, important and cared about..... To be honest.... This is the first Denny's I started spending time frequently at.... There was a time where I stopped by 5-6days a week between home and work...... And it was the first time I'd been back in that Denny's in 10yrs..... To the District Manager..... Great job!!! To the staff who assisted her in putting this moment together fantastic work!!! The food was great as always! Do the right thing, and things do all right.... Thank you for your understanding and effort to correct that one moment with a much more memorable one....

Read moreMy family and I encountered discrimination at this location, which prompted me to write this review. Although the manager was able to assist us, I am sharing our experience in the hopes that no one else has to endure what we went through. During our visit, an elderly Caucasian female waiter attended us. While ordering she raised her voice at my daughter as she attempted to place our order on our behalf, as we are not fluent in English. This caused nearby guest to turn.
The second incident involved our order taking an hour and a half to arrive. I understand that the restaurant was busy, but other parties who arrived after us were served before us. Given that my family and I had a long drive back to SOCAL, we decided to leave and ask for our check. As we were getting up from our seats and heading towards the register, our waiter shouted that our order would be ready in five minutes and then followed this with more yelling, saying "LEAVE, IF THAT'S WHAT YOU WANT!" We informed her that we no longer wanted to wait and requested for the check. She proceeded to invade my daughter's personal space, getting face-to-face with her while she was still sitting at the booth, and asked if we were staying or leaving in an unpleasant demeanor.
This experience was marked by a great deal of disrespect, and we asked to speak with the manager. The waiter initially claimed that there was no manager on duty, but when my daughter requested to speak with another lead, we were told that the manager was simply busy. After a short time, our original waiter returned to our table and attempted to apologize, claiming that she couldn't understand our Spanish. However, no one had spoken Spanish to her, and this was a racially...
Read moreMy husband and I decided to grab something to eat and we picked Denny's for breakfast early that morning. It was about 5:00 am it was still dark outside. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very warm, quiet, chill and pleasant. Customers were quietly chatting in the background. The sounds of silverware tapping lightly on our dishes, a mixer of some construction workers, a group of college students all girls having their sisterhood time together and 2 high school students and an old man resting at his table with his cup of coffee were the only customers. He and I talked and laughed and we both ordered the Philly Cheese steak omelet I believe was the name of the omelet, with of course pancakes and fruit on the side. Every now and then both of us looking out the window of our booth and watching the city slowly wake up with people driving to and fro while he sipped his coffee and I drank my orange juice with a straw of course,( it's the kid in me I guess) enjoying some good music lowly playing in the background throughout the restaurant as time just slipped into the shadows of the morning and enjoyably us losing track of it. All the songs were favorites of mine and his. After we finished our meal he paid the tab and tipped the waitress who by the way was a very nice, pleasant and attentive young lady. He then decided to go to try to win me a stuffed animal out of the arcade machine and he did. A pink fury sheep which is my favorite color. So sweet of him right. Great food, good company, not crowded...
