🛑DON’T GET THEIR 🍊ORANGE JUICE! 🍊 IT IS SOUR I’ve been coming here the last couple years and their burritos and orange juice usually are amazing. However the last few months their orange juice has been sour and bitter to taste. Usually, it is amazing and I chalked it up to a bad day. But weeks to a month later, this is now an ongoing issue as my orange juice is consistently sour, bitter, and unable to be consumed.
Edit: In response to Greenlee’s comments.. Whole Foods has freshly squeezed orange juice without additives and tastes amazing all year round. Maybe Greenlee’s should focus on paying the premium for in season oranges (or just not buying cheap oranges) rather than selling out of season orange juice for a $5 premium. “Freshly squeezed” does not equate to quality, good tasting orange juice. After a couple years of consistently spending money here (hundreds of dollars), it’s clear they don’t value to do good business for loyal...
Read moreMy husband and I recently moved to the neighborhood. We used to live near a Peet's. I'd indulge in their crustless quiche for breakfast. I was walking to the Peet's near here when I came across Greenlee's. Even on a weekday morning, there was a buzz of customers and the place smelled amazing even through my mask!! What's the point of living near the city center if you don't try all the unique local places instead of a chain like Peet's right? I was helped by a very friendly lady who told me all their specialities. I ordered their only savory baked treat, the spinach and feta pastry, and a latte. Both were perfection!! I don't like sugar for breakfast but I love baked goodies! I hope they consider expanding their savory selection. Other customers seemed to be loving the signature breakfast burritos and cinnamon bread. I'll have to come back to try...
Read moreThis little cafe is very cute and cozy. My husband and I ordered an everything bagel sandwich and a chipotle sandwich, a cappuccino and an iced decaf coffee with oat milk. Everything was going well until my coffee was made. I approached the young lady and she handed me a hot coffee. I politely told her that I ordered iced and her response was “no you didn’t, but I can make it iced” …..I’m sorry what ?? Why would you make a comment like that ?? Very rude and disrespectful, no manners at all. To top it off, the bagel sandwich wasn’t an everything bagel like we asked, but my husband didn’t want to say anything because of her attitude. What would she say to that - “no you didn’t” ….unfortunately that ruined our appetite and we were not able to enjoy our breakfast. We love to support family owned businesses, but with employees like her, we will not...
