Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in San Jose

The restaurant is clean and newly renovated. The lighting inside is good and the place looks spacious although it can only accommodate a few seats. I like their new vending machine because it dispenses different customized flavors of soda. They also have television to keep you occupied while waiting for your order. The service is fast since I get my orders less than 5 minutes most of the time that I buy here. Their chicken tastes really good and I like their mashed potatoes and cajun fries. However, their parking lot is bad because it's dark, the ground is broken and the slots are few. Besides that, there's always litter at the back. 4 stars on Google? Oh hell The outside and inside of this Popeyes looks like it was built in the 70s. Poor outdoor signage. The inside looks drab with “again” 1970’s brown everywhere, the windows are dirty and full of finger prints, the mens bathroom urinal looks like it was ripped off the wall and is missing, The doors look like they haven’t been cleaned in years and the floors look dirty/slimy. 0 stars!! The service was good 4 stars. My spicy chicken sandwich was crispy and tasted good 4 stars. The seasoned french fries were warm at best. 2 stars. The Fountain machine on the Coke choices was out of everything but Coke. The sweet tea tasted like pure sugar 1 star. Bottom line: I like Popeyes but...

Ordered online through their website. Called in to figure out where the rest of my family meal was. I was missing several items. Manager asked me to come in to reorder or get a refund. I ordered online to prevent from driving. Smh... I was upset and threw my food away. I will not order with any popeyes again, I only give one chance to any restaurant I eat at. It's really not that hard to read a list of items to put in a bag. If it wasn't raining, windy and cold i would have just went to order food for my family on my birthday.
