Terrible experience at this subway recently. In my online order, they changed bread type from 'Herb Cheese' to 'Plain' on all my footlongs and didn't tell me when I picked up the order. I found out when I opened them at home. Not only that, they put very few veggies even though my order asked 'Extra' in every veggie selection, and they didn't put the selected sauces in at least 2 footlongs, no mention the amount of the sauces was very little.
Second time, I went inside the store with the same coupon I used online. I was told that I couldn't order the 3 same footlongs as I did online, but I could only choose from their "build-your-own" list which has the cheapest footlongs. I told them that wasn't what is said on the coupon, they didn't listen but insisted me to choose from their list. I didn't want to argue so I chose from that list.
Now, when it gets to the veggie toppings, same thing happened. When I asked for more spinach and tomatoes, they said every footlong has fixed veggie distribution. Then why does the Subway app show "Extra" options for these veggies (free of charge)? Isn't that false advertising?
Then, at the checkout, they skipped the screen of entering phone number and I had to ask them to go back so I can enter my number for the member points. There was this guy holding a phone and monitoring from behind, kept asking me to just follow the screen and pay. When they finally went back to the screen, I entered my phone number, paid and ready to leave. The monitoring guy suddenly spoke loudly from behind saying that the coupon was only for members. I was confused, first of all, it was a regular coupon, not member-only. Secondly, I am a member. If not, why did I keep asking them to let me enter my phone number for the member points? So I replied to him twice that "I am a member"! This was when the unexpected happened. Out of nowhere, that checkout lady started yelling "Get OUT!" I was shocked to hear that as I was merely replying back to the other guy. I told her that I would write a "good" review about her rudeness and the service.
So I wrote a detailed review about my experiences to Subway Customer Service yesterday with both transaction # as proof. I raised the questions that "don't they know false advertising is illegal?" and "keep yelling 'Get Out' to their customers, who will get out eventually?" Here is the response I got from them, "Sorry for your experience at this Subway. We reserve the right to refuse services to rude customers at this Location". Seriously? Instead of addressing any of the concerns, they simply masked it up by rewriting what "rude" means.
By the way, the phone number screen at checkout didn't record my number and when I submitted online request yesterday to add the missing points, I got an email stating it can't be credited due to "unable to find a transaction based on the information provided". I don't know what they did in the system, but they should know that I have the physical copy of both transactions as proof.
I will end this lengthy review with a suggestion. If you don't want to experience these like I did, avoid this Subway place...
Read moreIs mgmt looking at these recent reviews? I had bad experiences the past two times with the two older hispanic ladies. 2 weeks ago I ordered 2 for 1 on the app and went there when I was notified it was ready. I waited for the lady to finish making and charging for the current person and then asked her if she could hand me the order (which was the only order laying waiting on the counter behind her) instead she ignored me and proceeded to to take the next customer while glaring at me. I could understand if the line was long but still takes a second to reach back and pass the bag. Eventually, the other person gave me the order. I regretted adding the tip. This time I went to order in the store and was told neither the Philly nor the Roast beef is covered by the coupon (even though it lists the ones are not covered). I left the store without arguing, ordered those same two sandwiches on the app using the coupon and picked up 15 mins later. Not planning to return to this location for...
Read moreI recently visited this Subway location, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. Upon placing my order, I politely asked the employee assisting me to follow the order as specified. She did not respond and instead packed my order without a word, displaying a noticeably rude demeanor as she handed it over. As I was leaving, I overheard her speaking in Spanish to another customer. That customer later informed me she was commenting on how she wasn’t going to follow the order instructions fully and had intentionally given me less than what I had ordered. She expressed frustration because I had used a promotion through the app. If honoring app-based promotions is a concern for the franchise, I would suggest they opt out of participating rather than allow customers to be treated poorly for using them. This interaction was disappointing and certainly does not encourage a return visit to...
