San Jose Candy Kitchen — Restaurant in San Jose

I was so hesitant to try the Dubai Strawberry Cup, because I haven't tried the Dubai Chocolate before. After 30 minutes of standing outside contemplating my life choices, I finally walked in with confidence and ordered it. I asked for them to include a scoop of vanilla ice cream just in case. No, its not cheap! Anyways, I carried this thing back to the safety of my hotel room, and slowly dug in to this masterpiece.

Let me just say, it was so flipping good! My taste buds were screaming. The chocolate is so smooth, so creamy, and just so thick. The sweet moist strawberry has the slightest crunch, and the chocolate quickly soothes the tongue. Add in the crunch of the pistachios, you just can't go wrong. I literally finished off the last bite and contemplated going back to order another! 😂

So, if you are hesitant to spend $20 for a Dubai Chocolate Bar, I would suggest trying the Dubai Strawberry Cup. They also have a huge selection of beautiful chocolate and candy apples. My blood sugar keeps telling me to stay away, but this is the closest taste to Heaven...

I would give a no star if possible!!! The owners have the door locked during business hours, they have blocked off the store so you can NOT browse and look at any of the candy on the shelves. They ask that you look at a binder on a table and choose what you want…. Why not just change this to an on-line store! So disappointed!!! And had to pay $10 for parking. When I asked what popcorn flavors they had available the store clerk proceeded to turn away and read them off the shelf at such a low volume I had to ask 3 times what he said!! So so so disappointing!! If your the owner you missed out on a sale and future patron! You should save your time and money and turn your business into a on-line shop. It’s basically a catalog business now! If you were to have let us and the kids browse the store like IT’S SUGAR does we would have spent the $75 dollars at your establishment instead....

First of all, the owners/managers of this place are incredibly sweet, which really helped my impression of this place. The ice cream and shakes are both pretty good. My favorite reason for coming here though is actually their large selection of flavored popcorn. I brought the garlic parmesean popcorn home, and was hooked. Went back and got the pizza flavored popcorn, and I'm probably going to keep going back till I've had all of the flavors.

Some ideas that can make the experience even better: I saw some candy selection on a shelf, but it would be great to get some popular overseas candies. Maybe some novelty candies too, just to keep the window shopping interesting I would love to see the fridge stocked with non-standard drinks as well
