Slow service, bland and cold food, expensive, and cockroach found scurrying along their condiments bar...

Dont normally leave bad reviews but this place was not good at all it was quite shocking. Maybe I went on an off day? We went right as they opened for breakfast. Service was very very very slow.

I ordered a simple breakfast which is usually a straight forward meal anywhere you order. Food was cold and bland. The French toast was just a really dense cold piece of bread. So I figured I could walk up to their condiment bar to grab something to season my meal. Unfortunately when I grabbed the maple syrup a cockroach ran across the counter.

My friends and I had a very disappointing experience. We waited over an hour for our food, and when it finally came out, everything was cold. The potatoes were undercooked, and my French toast was also cold. I had asked for a side of scrambled eggs, and not only were they cold too, but they also came with ham—something I didn’t order or ask for. Landed here by accident when the breakfast place I planned to go to had no power. So the host walked me across the street to this spot. Unassuming decor. Food and service were excellent. Had a delicious egg and cheese sandwich(egg white only because they hadn’t received their whole egg delivery) and a cafecito. Everything was fantastic. Moral of the day - enjoy the unexpected!!!! Next time will make this my planned destination and we’ll see...
