Mofongo heaven: Despite its name and the way it looks at glance in from the street, this is really a small and very good family restaurant, first, and a bar second - though the bar is pleasant and friendly as are the people who work there. But the reason to go is not top drink mojitos but to eat mofongo - any one of the several delicious, authentic varieties (pork, beef, chicken, fish) that draws in a loyal local family clientele. Just a frew doors down from the busy touristy Raices - where the foods is by all accounts also quite good, but my guess is that the Mojito mofongo is better - as that's all they do, really. And cheaper, and no waiting for tables, usually. And go ahead, have that...

It is shameful that we stopped at Mojito to go at 11:30 am. The service is up to standard, so give it 4 stars. Paid $48.00 full service. Went at 7:30 pm, and the tender was at its lowest podible. Same drink, yet this time, they charged $84.00.

So, much disrespect for locals is absolutely biased, such a great place. I think it should not allow over pricing to meet sales expectations. It's bad. the owner should always operate under the client's referal and return expectancy. Not the I screwed you today cause I'll never see you again premise.

By the way, the night tender (bar tender wannabee) did an extrene lousy job. The day bar tender had muxitohloy skills.
