Nom Nom Instant Food Shop — Restaurant in San Juan

I WAS NOT expecting the experience I has and was PLEASANTLY surprised at it. After having a drink downstairs, heading up to the restaurant looked a little sus. I saw they had an instant ramen bar and was not impressed, plus it was considerably warmer upstairs then in the bar/store downstairs. Once I saw they had spam fries I was a little intrigued. At the urging of my friend I ordered the churrasco sushi roll (that’s not the name but I don’t remember the actual name) IT WAS AMAZING! The combination of the churrasco and the maduras was perfection! Not to mention I knew the spam fries would be good unless the bedding was awful and it wasn’t. Anyone that grew up on spam will greatly appreciate this twist on it. Plus they serve it in a spam container which adds to the novelty, but the taste never needed the novelty so it’s just a nice touch. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly and chatty. My friends had the pulled pork bowl (again not the correct name but it wasn’t the pork belly) and loved it. As we walked down the stairs to leave we both said that was surprisingly unexpected. Don’t let the outside or even the inside fool you, the food is DEFINITELY worth it. Neither of us had the ramen, oven never thought instant ramen was worth it, but if you are looking for that type of experience they did have a ton of topping options. Don’t sleep on this place....

The 5 courses experience is a must! The food is definitely an experience that takes you to another level. The dishes are well thought out, made with fresh ingredients that are perfectly balanced to create a complete experience on the palate. You will find a combination of flavors that may seem unusual, but it is perfectly balanced and elevates the taste.

Not bad. The staff was friendly, but nothing too adventurous. Just instant ramen that is not normally found in the supermarket on the island with some toppings. The other items in their menu seem interesting too. I was delightfully surprised by how good...
