Señor Baguette — Restaurant in San Juan

BEWARE This establishment will take advantage of customers. I visited Señor Baguette 6/3/2022 and a group of friends and I ordered drinks and some açaí bowls. The Açaí bowls were not acceptable at all. They were very small. Maybe just a few bites with fruit thrown on top. It was served in a huge plastic bowl with one Icecream scoop size(exactly filling the scoop and no more) of açaí. When the server was charging my friends and I he was charging himself a 40% tip and was not giving receipts back to us nor giving us the credit machine to input our own tip. He thought he could take advantage of tourist. Little did he know this white bot grew up in the hood and I know when I’m getting taken advantage of. I saw him hand the credit card device to every other customer but when it came to our group he didn’t hand it to us and wasn’t giving us receipts. Well I saw the tip amount printing on the receipts before he could hide it. I asked for my receipt and I questioned him and he says the tip is just included. I told him no and he refused to say he overcharged. I asked for a manager and the manager was not helpful one bit. I don’t think he wanted to be involved most likely because he knows when they do and doesn’t want to be apart of it. I mean I stood at the counter and made him refund all 5 receipts. I asked for his name and he told me Carlos. That’s when I responded “ yeah me too” haha! Well here are your mugshots “Carlos”. The food and coffee were not good for what it costed and the service was absolutely horrible....

Started out great, initial 10-minute wait then we were seated, we sat outside to enjoy the weather. Our server was nice and friendly. He took our drink order and then went over the menu. We ordered about 10 minutes later, that was the beginning of the end. It took roughly 45-50 minutes from that point to get our order. It was a pretty basic order, we both had two eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes and a side of potatoes. At the 30-minute mark we inquired about our food. The server said, he was going to check on our order. We still didn’t see any food for another 15-20 minutes. But low and behold the party of four that was seated after us walked out; they had already ordered, eaten, paid their bill and were leaving 10 minutes before we received our food. When our food finally arrives, we inquire about what happen to our order. The response was “you know sometimes it just gets busy”, no accountability, no apology. After all that all our food was cold, and the pancakes were as hard as rocks. We asked them to remake the order. They said, do you want it heated up? We responded with no; we want it remade it. Which only took 10 minutes. This time all the food was still just warm. We spoke to the manager, which was a waste of time. We gave up, we paid our bill and left. What was the biggest disappointment was they took no accountability for the long wait; offered no apology and no offer to make any reparation for the issues. Either the server did a bad job and didn’t put the order in right or on time or the cook...

I want to first say I am writing this review as I’m waiting on my food. The good first: we were seated immediately. The cons: it took about 20 minutes before we had a waiter come to our table. Our drinks came out about 10 minutes later. However it’s about 30-40 minutes later and we are STILL waiting on the food to come out. I ordered the eggs Benedict. How long could that possibly take to make? No one came back to our table to check on us and ask if we want refills on our drinks. When a lady finally did come out to our table to give us plastic forks and knives (about 45 minutes after ordering our food) she asked if we wanted more mimosas. My partner said no however I said yes. She looked at me crazy and said she had to ask. Of course we looked puzzled because you just asked if we wanted refills and now I have to wait on you to check if I can? About 5 minutes later she said we can’t have refund. So I had to reiterate refill. So there is a language barrier and I understand that. It was just odd. Our other server which was a guy was pretty good. After about 45-50 minutes of waiting we finally received our food. I will give credit where it’s due and say that my partner and I enjoyed our food. The service however could be better especially since the place...
