POKÉBAR Hawaiian Kitchen (Condado) — Restaurant in San Juan

Unfortunately although the tastes was incredible and I was very pleased with the food initially. I started a rash around 3 hours after eating the raw tuna. This rash spread through my whole body, I went to ER and the doctor said I had bacteria poisoning from eating raw fish. This was the only place I had eaten the raw fish, this month. This allergy, spread everywhere and I was in incredible misery for one month. It’s been 7 weeks now and I’m still suffering itchy ness. I did call the manager and let him know what happen. His response was “ your the first person that complains” which felt to me as invalidating my actual experience. I write this so when you read it you can become aware of the possibilities of an extreme allergic reaction. Mind you I’ve eaten raw fish all my life and I’ve never had this problem. Be careful. We stopped in at 8pm and they had already started to pack up half of the food bar, online and the door stated they closed at 9pm. We proceeded to order a poke bowl and we decided to go with one of their signature bowls. They asked us to read off the ingredients on the menu, one being seaweed salad. He said it cost extra, we told him it was part of their bowl and be nodded his head no. And we were telling him it was on the list of ingredients for that signature bowl. We ordered to dine in but they gave us our order in a bag to go. We just felt rushed and unwelcome. Maybe if you go try an earlier hour, not 1 hour...

Got there after around 6pm, there were 2 employees none of them greeted us. We waited and 10 mins later they decided to look at us and take our order. My kid wanted the tropi chicken bowl and they said they had ran out. As an FYI, if I remember correctly, we got there at 6pm, about an hour before closing. These 2 incidents were more than enough for us to walk out and have some other place take our money. If they had, at least, greeted us when we walked in, we would have considered returning and giving them another chance... but no. We wont return and they will not get a chance from us.
