Let’s start by saying that donut shops are like a dime of dozen. You can literally go to any donut shop and not really see much of a difference. Nevertheless, what sets these places apart is the service.
My son goes to San Marcos High and he has a zero period. Every other weekend I have to drive down from LA to drop him off at school. We usually swing by somewhere to get him a quick bite before school. This time, it happened to be Fosters Donut. Very convenient!!
We went into Fosters, and got him a donut, I did not notice that it was cash only. I figured well he’s not going to eat breakfast this morning. As we were walking out, the owner was like “here young man”. And gave him a free donut. Now if that is not service, I don’t know what is. Not to mention, a place that cares for the community

Read moreThis is the first donut shop I entered in this area. It is a nice shop staffed by nice people ready to help. It was a busy place that were served quickly.
Donuts are displayed in a glass faced counter making the available sweets easy to select from a broad range of filled, glazed, frosted and plain sweets.
With a dozen treats in the box I placed on our kitchen counter, it didn't take long for our visitors to smile with their selections.
Donuts sales are cash & carry. That was a surprise, but not a problem.
