New Braunfels, 10 PM. Main drag's rolled up tighter than a cowboy's bedroll. Belly grumbling like a stampede, I spot a lone beacon in the darkness: P. Terry's. Hell, it's either that or a gas station Slim Jim. A bright, clean cube in a sea of closed-up shops. Inside, it's buzzing like a hive. Locals, truckers, late-night wanderers, all united by the universal hunger for a damn good burger. I order the #1, a classic double-meat symphony with all the fixins'. Fries, crispy and salty, a milkshake so thick you could pave a road with it. This ain't fancy food, folks. It's honest, unpretentious, the kind of fuel that sticks to your ribs and puts a smile on your face. Look, I've eaten at Michelin-starred restaurants, sampled exotic delicacies in far-flung corners of the globe. But sometimes, late at night, all you need is a simple, satisfying burger. And P. Terry's delivers that in spades. It's a taste of home, a reminder that even in the darkest hours, there's always a light on somewhere. They use all-natural ingredients, which is a rarity in the fast-food world. Plus, the staff is friendly and efficient, even at this ungodly hour.

Read moreWow! I am no professional food taster but I have got to say that the food here is delicious. You cant complain about the prices because they are really competitive in contrast to other places. I wish I took photos of the food but unfortunately got caught up in how delicious it really was.
We ordered:
Hamburger - simply delicious, not oily, and the burger had flavor i havent had in any ol' burger. simple and delicious.
Spicy Chicken Sandwich - Oooooh soooo good. My favorite. It had some kick and i enjoy super spicy but this had enough anyone can handle with lots of flavor. Tasted so clean and fresh. I want another one!
Peppermint Shake - They change their shake monthly. And i love thick shakes but this was thick but not too much that you can use the straw.
Oatmeal Chocolate Cookie! - I mentioned to the cashier this was our first time at a P. Terry's and how my Wife and I are heading back home to Dallas, from San Antonio and he threw in skme free cookies for the long drive home. And those cookies are soooo good I will be buying them the next time we go, unless they want to throw it in extra, i won't complain! haha.
Thank you to the P. Terry's crew that served us last night! We will...
Read moreI love coming here food is great and typically service is fine not crazy amazing but decent just went through the drive through at this location all I order was two cheese burgers one plain and one add bacon and grilled onions and 1 drink got to the window and the girl greeted me by just saying my total 14$ handed me my bag and then started handing me two drinks so I thought oh no this must be a different order and she just said no this is your order and repeated The order I made which was correct and she said the one drink I was like yes that’s my order. I just thought I was getting the wrong order since you were giving me two drinks and I only had one. I don’t know if she thought I was arguing with her because I was not. I was being very nice. I just didn’t want to accidentally take someone else’s order she was kinda rude just handed me everything back and my one drink card and shut the door in my face no thank you have a good day or nothing she seemed very bothered by me for just wanting to make sure I have the correct order since she was about to give me drinks from a different order I’m not a confrontational person so I don’t know what her deal was kinda just ruined my mood for...
