Panda Express — Restaurant in San Marcos

A meal swipe costs $7.50 to buy, and for that they offer a bowl with no option of fried rice and orange chicken. I love orange chicken, but white rice? It costs $5.80 to buy a bowl and an additional $1.25 for a premium entree at a normal Panda Express. We are college students, KNOWN FOR NOT HAVING MONEY, so why are we paying more for less options? They dont even have cheese rangoons!! On top of this, since the kitchen barely has 2 people, even the white rice takes forever which causes a massive line of people waiting for rice THEY WOULD PREFER NOT TO TAKE while those who do pay for fried rice end up getting old rice because it sits all day. If I can give them zero star I would. Do NOT go there for lunch. Had been waiting for over 30 minutes with no one want to help. The server even threw me attitude because I asked her how long I need to wait after waiting over 30 minutes. If you have friends work there, you can cut the line. Their food is consistently inconsistent. Sometimes the orange chicken comes out amazing and other times its salty or just plain meh. Their chow mein comes out either delicious, oily, dry, or raw. You'll never know what portion size you will receive and sometimes they give you a laughably small amount of chicken. Your best bet is to buy a plate with 2 different kinds of chicken and chow mein or rice. Odds are 1 of those 3 food items will be cooked right and you can just throw away the other 2 that are...
