I was here on a Sunday morning because the Hillsdale shopping Center only open from 10:00 p.m. so I decided to start my morning with a coffee Starbucks right in the Hillsdale shopping Center Starbucks open earlier. They're internally connected this Hillsdale shopping Center.
I bought a decaf coffee in a mug up which cost $3.25. There are very few people using the cup so I have to ask them to put the coffee in the mug cup because I'm drinking in shop.
The location is very good because it's in the shopping center. When you finish shopping you can go there. Have a cup of coffee and chill. I started go to trader Joe's and then headed to the Starbucks. They're very close, about 5 minutes walk.
Coffee is good. The place is good. There are two table seats outside. No wait time in the morning. Just one thing I'm not never comfortable with.
I paid using my Starbucks app but it looks like they charged me twice. I'm not sure if there's a security holding on it. I only swiped My Starbucks barcode at the counter once and when I asked the staff if they have charged my twice. They said no. It looks like they don't know what's going on. I might have to call Starbucks customer service to make sure I'm not being charged twice if I find out it's not a security hold.
I would say the service is good but the Starbucks app doesn't function well leading to a moderate...
Read moreToday I received the WORST treatment ever at any Starbucks that I've visited. At approximately 8:55am, I ordered a Grande Pike Place and Double Smoked Bacon and cheddar sandwich. After finishing my sandwich, at approximately 9:15am, I returned to the front to order a coffee refill. The woman who appeared to be either Asian or Hispanic asked me if I bought the coffee at the store. I replied of course I did. She responded that they were brewing a new pot and it would take approximately 4 minutes. As I reached in my pocket to grab a dollar to PAY for the refill, the woman asked again if I purchased the coffee at their location. I responded "are you serious?" THEN facetiously I stated "No I got it from San Francisco and I like riding from city to city with Starbucks coffee cups"..She stated that she would not give me a refill. I requested corporates # and to speak with a Manager. She brought someone who is supposed to be a manager and chanted call corporate several times and yelled the # over and over again stating call them. She was VERY RUDE, unprofessional, and borderline racist.I will NEVER return to that location but will make sure as many people know about this situation...
Read moreComplaint Regarding Denial of Birthday Reward and Store Manager’s Behavior
Dear Starbucks Team,
Today, on my birthday, I visited your store to redeem my birthday reward as offered in the Starbucks app. However, the staff asked if I had just downloaded the app. I explained that I had downloaded it two months ago, not recently. Despite this, I was told I couldn’t claim my reward because the app must have been downloaded at least a week before the birthday. This policy was never communicated clearly, and I’ve been actively using the app for two months.
What made this experience even worse was the store manager’s dismissive and unprofessional behavior. The manager made hand gestures and acted indifferent, which was incredibly disrespectful. This is not the level of service I expect from Starbucks, a brand that prides itself on customer satisfaction.
On my birthday, I was looking forward to a simple gesture from your brand, but instead, I was left feeling upset and undervalued. I request that this issue be reviewed, and I hope necessary steps will be taken regarding both the denial of my birthday reward and the inappropriate conduct of the store...
