Sharetea — Restaurant in San Ramon

Came here to get a classic milk tea drink with boba pearls and I just wanna say that this establishment just needs to work on customer service as well as training their employees better. I've visited this place a couple of times and it just always have something off about it: how they deal with customers and timing/preparations of the drinks itself is poor.

Walked in and the employees never said hello or welcome and kind a just stood there wanting to get it over with. Asked them to lower the sweetener and less ice but when I got it seemed like they didn't listen to my request with the ice so I kind a just went ok...I hope they put less syrup... and it just tastes disappointing with the overwhelming sweetener. The boba tasted meh too.

As somebody who has worked as a shift manager/bobarista in the past in a different establishment...I could tell that these employees have not had proper training. The whole vibe of the place was not pleasant or welcoming at all. I hope you guys can improve in the future and also make sure that your employees create a professional environment within the store and in front of the customers since it seems like it is run by mostly high school...

They have a really large menu with a variety of Boba tea options in various flavors and styles. They also have milk and yogurt based drinks on the menu. They also have a vanilla flavored Ice Cream to which more toppings can be added. The good part is that you can reduce the amount of Boba in your orders by informing the attendant or choosing the option at the self service kiosk. The store has an ordering counter as well as a self ordering machine which is more convenient as it has a larger screen. The menu is clearly depicted across the store on screens and through posters on the wall and counters. There are a couple of table and few chairs for customers to sit on and enjoy. There is plenty of free parking outside the store. Visited almost at the closing time and placed a large order while only a single person was working primarily to close the store, yet she prepared and delivered the order with a smile. The drinks were okay. Although, the customer service was terrible and really quite frustrating. We got our drinks and I was about to put the straw through the film (the cover), but it wasn't working. So I set it on a table to try again. It didn't work either. So I asked one of the members in the staff that helped with our orders. She explained there was a different way to put the straw in. I struggled to figure out how to put it in and the rest of the staff behind her, and including her, laughed at me. I even heard one whisper to another, "Wow, she's so stupid."
