Not So Hot-n-Ready
Okay, we all know what this place is about, right? We don't go to a drive thru window to order pizza for the quality, we go for the cheap price and fast service. So, despite the staffs' shirts claiming there are pizza Artists working behind the counter, we understand they are giving us cheap, warm, pizza-flavored cardboard and they will provide it NOW. Unfortunately, the "Ready" part of the logo is no longer reliable.
I went through the drive-thru last night and ordered one each of the hot-n-ready cheese and pepperoni pizzas with a side of bread sticks. An easy order, right? I mean, it says it's hot and ready right on the menu. As I was paying, the cashier asked me to wait for ten or so minutes in the parking lot while they finished cooking it and they would bring it out to me (gulp). I agreed and waited. And waited. AND WAITED. And, no, the problem was not lack of staff; they had seven people working and they were churning out pizzas like crazy. I know this because I had a great view into their store as I was sitting in my car right in front of the doors. Each pizza that exited the oven was like Pavlov's whistle telling me I was going to be fed (likely with similar nutritional value as dog food), and each one disappeared leaving me brokenhearted and slobbery. It teased me, tortured me for an hour. Pizza after pizza going to whichever of the pack of ravenous customers showed the most fang.
Then I remembered. I am not a captive animal. I don't need to bite, claw and bark louder than the others to get my food. I have freedoms. I have liberty. I HAVE A SMARTPHONE! So, I logged into Marcos Pizza and ordered carryout from their store located a mile south. I mean, DaVinci spent less time on the Mona Lisa than these Pizza Creators were taking.
Anyway, I went in to Little Ceasars after completing my Marco's order and they said they could have my order out to me right away. I asked for them to just give me my money back and suggested they remove the "ready" wording from their menus. The other ravenous customers seemed to be torn between fighting for the scraps I had left or demanding their money back. I didn't stick around to find out what happened. I drove down to Marco's and picked up my hot, tasty pizza that was ready for me, just ten minutes from when I ordered it. Now that is a pizza masterpiece! I get that Marco's is a bit more expensive, but I value my time too much to ever order Hot-n-"Ready" pizza-flavored...
Read moreI used to go to this place all the time four years back when I first moved to Utah and I appreciated the quick and accurate service back then. However, since then the service has declined dramatically. Recently and ever more frequently, the person that has come to "greet" me when I enter the restraint sullen and treated me like a little boy, and when I expressed my gratitude for the service they would rarely say anything back. I must say there are some positive experiences I have had when the service is good but these have become few and far between.
My most recent visit to this particular Little Caesars, I was picking up four pizzas for me and my cousins. I walked into the restaurant and purchased the pizzas and they let me know ahead of time that there would be a ten minute wait. No problem, they told me ahead of time and this was not as long of a wait as I had had in previous visits. With this, I went to my car with my younger cousin and only a minute later, a worker came out and asked me to pay again. Confused, I went inside and purchased the order again. However, after checking my bank account, I had paid twice for the same order. After going inside and asking politely for a refund, I was told that there was no problem and that the system only indicated one transaction. Even after showing them my transaction history and telling then that it may be a problem with their system, they refused to believe me. Five minutes later and after a call to my bank confirming that I did indeed pay twice, they still refused to admit that there may be a problem with their system. Four days later, I am fourty dollars down and still waiting for my bank to solve the problem that could have been solved in five minutes would the service have been any better than what I got.
My Takeaway: I will not be coming back and I would advise against going here for those who may be considering it. The "service" and mediocre food is probably not worth your time, money, and any patience you may have to expend sorting out headaches like the one...

Okay, we all know what this place is about, right? We don’t pull up to Little Caesars expecting overpriced “artisan” pizza that takes forever — we go for the unbeatable price and the lightning-fast service. And guess what? The staff’s shirts proudly say “Pizza Artists” because that’s exactly what they are: geniuses at cranking out delicious, piping hot pizzas for hungry people immediately. Thankfully, the “Ready” part of their logo is still rock solid.
I went through the drive-thru last night and ordered a classic Hot-N-Ready cheese and pepperoni pizza with a side of breadsticks. The easiest dinner ever, right? And true to their promise, it was hot, fresh, and in my hands before I could even finish tapping my card. I barely had time to put my car in park!
Inside, the whole crew was hustling like a well-oiled machine. I could see through the windows — those ovens were rolling out perfect pies nonstop, each one a warm, cheesy masterpiece delivered instantly to happy, satisfied customers. No stress, no drama, no endless waiting. Just fast, delicious pizza for a price that makes your wallet smile.
I didn’t feel like a caged animal waiting for scraps — I felt like royalty. The second I pulled up, they handed me my food with a smile and a “Have a great night!” And I did! I drove home with that fresh, hot pizza aroma filling my car, and when I opened the box, it was everything I hoped for: cheesy, saucy, and deliciously comforting.
Some people want fancy pizzas that cost a fortune and take an hour to make. Not me. I value my time and my money, so I’ll stick with Little Caesars — the true masters of Hot-N-Ready. I’ll take their pizza over waiting around for Marco’s any day. Little...
