The food is exceptional here each time we go. I will not call the menu prices cheap, pretty average, most meals are currently between $10-$15 and include a drink. If you subscribe to their rewards program, they do routinely have specials and bonus rewards that will turn your meal into a bargain for the quality. Don't miss out on amazing deals, and I think they give you three tenders just for subscribing. Sauces are made in house, they have lots of drink options from specially made tea to Coca-Cola Freestyle. Be sure to take them up on their handwashing station, it's nice to have clean hands and the soap is really good. On top of the consistently delicious food, the service is among the best I ever get. This is not a table service restaurant, but they carried the food to my table today, for example. Even if they don't though, which they can't always, it's almost always ready to go a couple minutes after ordering. You can really get in and out of the dining room quickly. Even if you can't dine in, they have a fantastic drive-thru service, just don't wait too long before enjoying your meal. I've written a lot, I just can't say enough great things about Sanford's PDQ. They're by far my favorite and I hope to come back again and again.

1 Star I came to PDQ expecting food. What I got was a sad science experiment gone wrong. Let’s talk about the “bread”—and I use that term loosely because this thing could double as a medieval weapon. It was hard enough to break a window, or possibly a tooth. I tapped it on the table and half-expected it to echo. Unedible. Untouched. Honestly, I felt bad throwing it out—it looked like it had potential as a doorstop. Now the fries? Oh, honey. Stale doesn’t even begin to describe it. They tasted like someone found an old box of them behind the freezer, said “eh, close enough,” nuked them in a microwave powered by disappointment, and served them with a straight face. I’ve had better fries fall under my car seat. If this is what “People Dedicated to Quality” means, I’d hate to see what happens when they stop trying. I didn’t expect gourmet, but I also didn’t expect to leave wondering if my taste buds had filed for unemployment. Do better, PDQ. Or at least stop the assault on carbs.

16 Feb 2025 Lunch. The reason for the 3 star review is because PDQ fails to provide good food cost/value for the price. ***OVERPRICED *** Why should a small bowl of Broccoli cost $1.89?! The bowl should be much larger. Or better yet, don't up-charge for a pseudo-premium side, especially healthy ones! Also, why should adding a single slice of cheese to a sandwich cost $1.20?! A SINGLE SLICE OF THIN CHEESE costs as much as 3/4 of a full package of cheese slices! And then, I'm up-charged $0.50 for grilled chicken instead of the less healthy deep-fried chicken breast for my honey butter sandwich, which for some ridiculous reason fails to include lettuce and tomato? I only go here because my wife likes their salads. I'll start convincing her that we're better off elsewhere. It's a shame, because the food is good, but the cost/value ratio is way off here. Maybe do something like your next door competitor (Red Robin) does... offer all you can eat sides.

The managers of this company and some of the higher ups are very nasty people their manipulative they contact individuals on their team that they know are vulnerable and they tell them if you did the best will help you well my boyfriend has cancer and it's terminal he worked here they promised that they would help with his cancer they did not at all they stressed him out more they were nasty to him when he had difficulties because he's a cancer patient it was far as bullying being antagonized these are not all good things that should happen in a workplace you shouldn't sell false hope to somebody that's a dying man that's wrong that's something that would make somebody come back to the store and destroy the store hopefully one day if they don't stop doing stuff like that something very bad is going to happen to the managers and to that store you don't do things like that this is not a family oriented place this is not a company or an organization that cares about its employees they are nasty they are fail they are manipulative I pray to God that they get shut down because they are completely unprofessional and all the managers that participated in being nasty and being manipulative to my husband should be fired that is not right that is not fair he's a cancer patient he still came to work every time he was supposed to sick or not and it just makes it worse because the fact that they told him they would do anything they could to help him with his cancer they told the family that as well I would recommend staying away from here eating I would recommend not working here because they're going to screw you over they take advantage of sick people that are terminally ill and I'm sure they'll take advantage of any minors that they have working for them so that was a parent and I had a child working I would definitely not allow them to work for this business nobody should have to work for a dishonest business a dishonest boss and somebody that leads you to believe things that they cannot and they will not do I feel they were wrong for mentioning being helping him yes because they didn't help him the intentionally picked with him intentionally bother him intentionally promised that they were going to help but did nothing but turn around and give him false hope in his family also and then fire him the bosses and the managers that were involved in it should be in trouble that's something that could push an individual that is just morally wrong they Don't Care about kids they Don't Care about kids if they cared about kids they wouldn't lie about helping in being manipulative about helping dad- kids but they can do all these recreational funds for fun things that don't make any sense they can trade food with other restaurants and other businesses but they could not do not one thing to help him after they promised they would help him the bosses the managers not all of them there are some good ones but most of them or manipulative and bad moral people bad moral people everyone knows you don't mess with somebody that has cancer this is real tragedy because of the way that you treated somebody that is sick it's a tragedy of how you treat any of your employees so people should know that PDQ is going to take advantage of sick and disabled people PDQ takes advantage of sick and...

The potential for this restaurant is so high, they have good quality chicken and food but they really need to work on presentation and customer care. We stopped going there and decided yesterday to give it another try and this time my hubby went in to give back the sandwich. Now the girl who met him at the counter he said was very professional and she took back the sandwich and put together another one rather quickly. It was cold but def better. I absolutely hate doing that but the cheese had hard edges breaking apart from sitting out the bacon was in pieces burnt, they they put a huge lettuce end on there it was bigger than the chicken lol the waffle fries were cold and hard with more cold burnt bacon pieces and this was an item they were advertising as new. Bacon was so burnt i actually had a bad taste in my mouth after eating. I still ate it thou my husband threw his out after a few bites. We ordered through the drivethru and the csr was not helpful seemed annoyed and we get it we all have to work to survive but I personally treat my customers with care and enthusiasm. Even if they are annoying. I couldn't see the menu from the passengers seat so i asked for a menu he didnt have one, i asked what options they had and he pointed to the menu i couldnt see and ya know that's partly my fault we shouldn't of pulled up to order without knowing exactly what we wanted but people were behind us so we felt pressure to move up. Having a paper menu to hand out to the customer since the ordering at this place is done at the window which is unique would help. Sadly the place was empty and we actually almost decided to leave and go to panda express. So Im taking time to write this in hopes it will inspire change. Like i said in the beginning this store could be a contender to chik fil a but it will never be if your team is uninspired and dont care. You have to ask yourself why your lot is constantly empty. And its a shame when the potential has always...

The first time that I visited PDQ Sanford there was a line around the building for their drive-thru, so I ended up going somewhere else for lunch because I didn’t want to wait. The fact that there was a line, though, made me feel like it was probably good food, so I returned on a different day to give it a try. Since I had never been there before I was at first confused by their drive-thru setup, which has you look at a menu on a board and then drive around to give your order to a person at a window. The worker at the window was not very helpful at all; she took my order but didn’t ask me about things like what sauce or sides I wanted with my combo.

While I understand that this is a chain restaurant, I also wasn't very impressed by the fact that you could look into their drive-thru window and see shelves of boxed and canned products that they cook with and serve. It felt sloppy and unprofessional to have those things stored in a place where the customer can see them, and it just hammered home that they're not actually making most of the things that they serve you but just repackaging them from a can or a box.

After I paid and got around to the other window to pick up my food, the girl there asked me about which sauces I would like and gave me my food. I wish that I had checked my order before I left because when I got home, I realized that they left out my zucchini fries, which was the one item I was actually excited to try from their menu, so that was disappointing. Overall the food was average; the chicken tenders at Publix are better than PDQ, but their sauces were good and the fries that I did receive were decent. If I were to try PDQ Sanford again I would have to go inside to eat, as I wasn’t satisfied with the drive thru service or the quality...
