Nick the Greek — Restaurant in Santa Clara

Went here because China stixs restaurant was closed for family vacation btw awesome place. Not understanding the good ratings on here I have a feeling maybe New Management ? Little chick at the counter obviously looked like she didn't enjoy working there robotic no eye contact quick short sentences. When I asked for extra container of sauce she handed it to me and turned directly around with out a smile or anything. Gyro and veggies tasted B- minus fresh but the meat was dry not appetizing at all and I was absolutely starving( for me to complain when I'm really hungry it says a lot ) inside seating the place was hot with the grills and no air conditioning whatsoever ? The only thing about this place that made me smile was when I went to the bathroom to wash my hands before I ate an the door said gender neutral...

Ordered online. They didn’t see my order until I showed up 4 minutes before it’s supposed to be ready. They didn’t complete my order until 15minutes after pickup time. Mind you I ordered this over an hour ago. People who showed up after I got here, ordered AND got their orders before I got mine.

Oh and the staff All wear gloves. But still touch everything (phone, hair, shirt, counter, register, money, food containers) with them. Might as well just not waste the gloves.

This place is nestled in a bustling shopping center and is a great spot for a quick bite or something to take home. The food is fresh, cooked well and made with quality ingredients! The flavors are spot on and many options to choose from. I recommend the beef/lamb gyro and chicken Souvlaki. The taziki is addictive and some of the best I've had.
