So, I wasn't even thinking about eating here. I was looking for some burger joint that I couldn't find and thought, why don't we just eat here. I was with my wife and she said ok... So that was enough for me. So we walked up and noticed the "chilaquiles special" on the door.... We ordered two. Mines with scrambled eggs, hers sunny side up. First off, the eggs were delicious! I don't know what the heck they do to make them so soft and fluffy and flavorful. But I tip my hat to the chef. Then, the chilaquiles themselves.... O...M...G.... They're so good. You have the choice of red or green sauce... We tried the green. This plate comes with a side of beans and rice too. Then we washed it all down with coffee, some of the best coffee I've tried if I'm being honest. Then we noticed a guy walk out the kitchen with these huge jugs (pun not intended) of colorful drinks. I asked what were they and he said one was a mix of cucumber, mint, and spinach. The other was "Jamaica". I gave it a shot and you should too. Even if you come here just for that drink, it's definitely worth it. So sweet and refreshing. Very "authentic Mexican" flavor for sure. My wife and I will definitely be coming back to try their other plates. I'm sure they will be just as delicious, if not better...
Read moreFew things. Normally we're pretty easy going people. We don't ever leave reviews like this. However with our experience, we feel like we needed too. So sad. One I'm visibly pregnant and asked if they had a bathroom. I had to pee really badly. They told me they don't have one. My husband told the waiter "Nevermind, we can use one across the street. No biggie." Turn around and a bunch of other customers asked. They of course send them to where the bathroom is. Seriously 😒. Well that's annoying. Ok whatever, mistakes happen. The other part. When we asked what was in the food we were ordering and they said "sour cream". When we got it, it was mayonnaise. Definitely not what we expected. Food wasn't that great. Try having a smoothered burrito or encliladas completely covered in mayonnaise. We asked another worker politely if they carried sour cream they said yes. Some reason they didn't put it on ours. They only offer it on some things. What we ordered should of had it. Well, we won't be going back there. Was a very weird experience. Not impressed. Food wasn't very good. We both feel really sick after eating there. We thought with such high reviews, it would have been great. My husband was so excited to go there too. Guess it's not always as it seems. What a...

I heard the tacos were good, and they are. But I should have just got those. I ordered the $30 combo fajitas which was a mistake. They were just ok, nothing special. Steak overcooked and dry, shrimp fully shelled so you need to peal to put into a little self made taco, and the rice was not flavorful at all.
The tacos, on the other hand, were good. At $3.75 each, I should have ordered 6 for me and my wife and we would have been happy and full for less than $23.
We also should have skipped the soda. The first batch was flat so they had to change out the tanks. Got the sodas much later and didn't even get a refill. No big deal, but at $4.25 each, seems like a waste. Way too expensive for fountain soda, so maybe just needed to stick with water.
Lastly, I asked for more tortillas, specifically 1 or 2 more, and they brought 4 and charged $3.99. Not worth it and sort of wrong when Don Cuco or Darios gives you extra for free.
Also, our friends had the pineapple drink which has a $2.99 refill. Not sure if this is standard at other Mexican spots.
Anyway, we'll probably go back, but just for tacos and water only. Be full and get out with a $30 bill,...
