Worst Blake's service that I have received tried to call in my order to pick up girl puts me on hold and leaves me there taking orders and gossiping all while I'm waiting held for 10 min before I hung up tried calling back but was told line was busy because my previous call was still on hold get here and ladies are just gossiping and not doing a thing and on their cell phones this is ridiculous on how this business is let to run next time will go somewhere else for sure my advice dont bother calling. So this is a update for everyone thinking of going here don't do it. Go to another blakes instead. Service has not gotten better in any form. Got there and they guy working the register was obviously having trouble finding orders for guest in front of me. I get to front after waiting atleast 10 minutes with the slow guy at the register. I get to the front and let him know my name and says he doesn't have it so give him another name that it could be under. I should add that I was picking up a order because I refuse to go to this location because of past experiences. So they don't have either name for the order instead of asking what number the order was placed under which other Blake's does instead he asked what I ordered which I wasn't sure of since I was picking up so did not place order. Then the idiot repeats he can't find it if I don't know what was ordered. I totally urge anyone to not go to this location for anything I am going to ask others that place orders to place at other Blake's because of lousy service to incompetent employees this place just plane sucks and will never go back ever again. I urge others to avoid my mistakes of trying this location and to go elsewhere this place is a totally failure if you don't mind bad service then by all means go here but I will never be...

This location specifically, the ordering process is painful. No one at this location speaks English. So it took me repeating and correcting my order several times. And once she finally repeated it back to me correctly which sounded painful for her because it wasn’t Spanish. They still got my order wrong. They handed me our milkshakes first. They were wrong. Even though the girl that made the milkshakes was standing right there next to the cashier when I ordered them. Then we got our food. My kid’s burger was messed up. So when I took it back up there and stood outside the serving window, all the ladies in there looked at me and acted like they didnt see me. And then just left me standing there for a really long time. Like they did not want to help me. Zero customer service. This part really upset me. Once they finally opened the window, it wasn’t to ask me what I needed, it was because they had to call out the next order. Then the lady asked me what I needed. Again, she didn’t speak English and I don’t speak Spanish. I had to repeat what was wrong several times. She took the burger back, put it down on the counter, stared at it, put her hands in the air and shuck her head. So much attitude. All I wanted was cheese and tomato. She had to have another lady then open the window and ask me what I needed. I again had to explain myself. So then the lady throws the stuff on there and hands me back this cold, disgusting burger. My 9 year old was like “mommy, does this look good to you?” Poor thing. My burger was great. But this whole experience was awful. Thats a busy location. Customer service should be top notch. Also, a mix of English speaking employees...

This once treasured comfort staple of northern New Mexico where we went as kids and young adults to enjoy the most delicious hamburgers in the state, is now just another greasy joint with long lines, a high-turnover work force, and inconsistent quality of food. Depending upon the season and who happens to be working that day, your chances of having a poor experience vs a good one are about even. For example, on Friday, Sept 3, 2021, I watched as customer after customer returned to the window to show their receipts as proof that their order was missing items. The rickety card terminal malfunctioned and had to be reset, resulting in an extra 10 minute wait. My own order of just three Lotaburgers took 30 minutes between arrival and food in hand. The employees sometimes don't speak or understand English, and mask rules were inconsistently enforced as a young man without a mask was permitted to order food at the window while the woman immediately after him in line was ordered to don hers before she approached the window. Eat here at...

GREAT BURGER!! It's better than typical fast food. Everything was fresh and delicious. I ordered the lotaburger with green chile which is a must. The seasoned fries were good and crunchy. The chocolate milkshake was good. They didn't offer fountain drinks today. This location is typically busy and now I know why. Nice staff, decent prices, good view of the mountains while eating in the (ample) parking lot. *It appears, after many visits now that they stopped offering bacon. I've also since tried regular fries and onion rings. I think the regular fries are the best but all are fine. This place seems to be so busy that they routinely don't have something, be it bacon, drinks, a working frier etc. They are open until 10pm.

This drive-up counter is old-school deliciousness just waiting for you. They sell the most iconic green chili cheeseburger available, have fries that are on-point, and great milkshakes too. This is what good roadside food used to be and still is at Lotaburger. Furthermore, this is an historic location that served generations of students at St. Catherine Indian School and was notably one of the only 'excuses' for being late back from town - 'My lotaburger took too long' - as everyone understood you couldn't rush perfection - and the good Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament would allow a small amount of tardiness for this, but it might cost you some fries!

The Blake's restaurant on Guadalupe Street is one of the cool old style locations. There is no indoor seating, but there are several outdoor picnic tables where the cool breezes make a cheeseburger and an icy Dr. Pepper taste like magic. Blakes Lotaburger really needs to update their restaurants. Maybe go with a retro Jetson's decor or add neon lights to the exterior signage. But, the burgers and fries are still the main attraction. Good stuff. And the old school architecture preserves a little of the old Santa Fe feeling.
