Subway — Restaurant in Santa Fe

Subway is a food- chain conglomerate that’s having a hard time adjusting to a changing market. It’s stuck in the early 2000’s and less and less people are visiting its restaurants as a consequence. Plus, it doesn’t help matters any further when remaining locations operate at a subpar level (no pun intended). I recently came into this subway location a couple of days ago when the craving for a large tuna sandwich hit me. The price I paid for it as well as the rest of my combo meal was certainly reasonable ($7.13). However, the rest of my dining experience left much to be desired. For starters, the service wasn’t terribly good as the teenaged employee behind the counter seemed less than enthused to be at work; even though the restaurant was completely empty when I arrived. In addition, the floor was dirty as were the booths and tables. Before sitting down, I was forced to brush off a few bread crumbs at what was actually one of the cleaner tables. The sandwich itself was okay: about what you’d expect from any Subway restaurant. It's just too unfortunate that the rest of my experience here wasn’t that great. Probably won’t be coming back to this location...

If you see this man working, TURN AROUND AND LEAVE!!! This guy needs to be fired. Complete ignored what we asked for, we ordered, he pretended he didn’t hear, and charged us for what was already there. A clearly inebriated woman came in and he put all his attention on arguing with her. He made the man in front of me wait cause “I’m not touching money I’m making food you’re going to have to wait” Just so incredibly rude and disrespectful. He clearly hates his job. Every thing was “out” no bread but whole grain, and employees who ignore what a customer would like to order simply because they don’t feel like making it. This used to be my go to subway but NEVER AGAIN as long as he’s there. DO BETTER!!! Can’t believe I wasted that much money on things we...

This is twice now I’ve been there and there was no food safe handling taking place, the first time I had to tell the guy making my sandwich to change his gloves cause he wanted to take a call WHILE MAKING MY SANDWICH and this second time I just walked out cause making multiple different were being made sandwiches with the same gloves then handling money and no changing in between.

Derek is the worst manager ever if he even is one, he should not work there if he doesn't like it and wants to not help...
