we came late on a saturday night, me and my two girl friends. the club was packed, and lots of weird men were in there and being very uncomfortably forward to my one friend in particular. inside, multiple men kept trying to antagonize/pull attention, relentlessly. we moved outside to try to order an uber. eventually, a man named Sundance came up to our group of three and would not leave us alone, insistently trying to hit on my same friend. when i explained she was not interested and we were waiting for our ride, he spent 10-15 minutes intimidating and antagonizing and threatening me for trying to protect my friend. finally, after my other friend got security’s attention, he was finally pulled away from us. it was a terrible night full of lax security and being extremely close to flights. the highlight of our visit was the Uber that picked us up. don’t go to the Matador with your female friends unless you want to deal with the WORST atmosphere and...
Read moreJust OK for a international city as Santa Fe should be, the music played there seems be played for the DJ and not the audience. They do not about the tip process. The decorations are cool and the artwork. This seems to be real growing trend in Ego over the audience participation. Reminds me a Nazareth song "What's In It For Me"
You want me to be your friend Stick by you through thick or thin
What's in it for me What's in it for me?
You'd like me to deal you in Hold your hand right to the end
What's in it for me What's in it for me?
You want me to be your friend You want me and you want him This ain't for me This ain't for me
You want someone you can trust You want love , you don't want much
What's in it for me What's in it for me
You want my name on the line I don't feel that way inclined
What's in it for me What's in it for me?
You want me to be your friend You want me and you want him This ain't for me This...
Read moreI used to come here a lot, it used to be a cool spot, but it’s terribly worse now! I was there last night and when my friend came in the bartender asked her for an ID which she didn’t have any. Well we know no ID no alcohol, we get it, that’s everywhere! But the bartender asked us to leave cuz she didn’t have an ID with her and can’t sit! We were cool with it even though it sounds odd, i said let’s go I don’t want to waste my time arguing with someone with this mentality. Ironically, before we left the bartender said no tip!!! Hahahahahaha I wouldn’t recommend going there anymore, there are so many other nice places that respect their customers and accept cards, not this one cash only! I would give a zero...
