Overall: 5/10 "A Burger worth the Bite" Hole in the wall dinette with rustic ambiance. Fun spot. If you're hungry and passing through, give them a try. Let's break it down... 💥FOOD: 5/10 *Great variety of choices, nice selection of craft beers... *New Mexico has a great selection of beer, I do wish they had a few more local drafts *I went with the "Smoke" burger 🍔 and it had a nice flavor with a sweet sauce but the burger and bun were strangely dry. *Truffle fries were a nice touch..greasy and delicious 👌 💥SERVICE: 7/10 *Waitstaff are really nice here, it's pay at the counter and serve yourself for the most part. *There is a long bar table across from the bar which is smart and let's 2 rows of customers enjoy the television while they eat and have a drink without getting in the way of each other...smart layout! 💥ENVIRONMENT: Ambience is fun and inviting...bottle-cap wall art with artsy paintings of cow skulls and rattlenakes...very southwest👍 My burger, fries and soft drink was $20 I think it's a little overpriced for what you get. If a small family wanted a night out it would be a pretty costly venture...upwards of $80-$100.... At that price, it's a turn-away 😬 I would however try them again to taste more of their menu though...

We walked by this place and could smell the burgers and it drew us in. The place seemed pretty cool with an indoor bar area and seating area as well as an outdoor area. It wasn’t that packed, although there were plenty of customers sitting down eating and standing in line to order. The service was good, but I was disappointed they didn’t tell us the wait time for food when we were ordering. It took us about 50 minutes to get our food from the time it was ordered. I’m assuming it was because they were short staffed, but a courtesy heads up would have been great. The staff was friendly and really trying to be accommodating, but I just don’t think they had enough people working to meet the demand. Overall, the burgers were pretty good and they do have a selection of draft beers. I wish they had more sodas to choose from. One other thing is it’s cold sitting outside, but the heat burning lamps weren’t working. Apparently out of propane. They’ll need to fire these up again. Overall, the rating was based off this experience, but I’m pretty sure if I went when they were fully staffed it would’ve been higher.

I love this place and it has delicious food but I just had the most horrible experience. I was there with a group of friends and we ordered our meal etc but one employee was very rude when I asked questions and especially when I asked for my drink that I payed for she snapped back and said wait a moment. It was take out only that day so after we placed our order she proceeded to semi shout get out. I was very taken back by this but I complied and left. I checked back in later to ask how long our meals would be and she proceeded to call me impatient. Again I left and when we finally got our food extremely late even to the point where we saw people arrive before us get their meals before ours she proceeded to say that we are banned and no longer welcome. I asked her why and she said I was somehow disrespectful which I was so confused about as I made sure to include a tip and I used my manners please that you etc. My friends order was still late and when it finally came out she had no mask my friend asked why he was banned she looked at me even though I was silent said we are not welcome to the plaza or the burger restaurant ever again. My other few time were very delightful nice staff good food and a enjoyable time but this time with these two certain staff members it was terrible and upsetting as I do enjoy this restaurant. I am very upset about this experience and it had ruined my afternoon I guess there is no point in writing this but great food watch out for the short Hispanic women as she is not very nice and will ban you for no reason then proceed to call you...

It is a neat hole in the wall kind of joint. They do offer gluten free options for the bun. And as an FYI, their frying oil is used for all items, so it is not safe as far as being free of gluten. I ordered the fire burger with green chile and a habanero jam that did nothing for the taste, I like spicy and I was slightly disappointed. There is never a guarantee that the food will be to the expectation of the items in the food. The burgers were good, I like mine usually medium but these were cooked to well done! Ordered a side salad but seemed dry in the taste but it "looked" as though it had something on it but surely could not taste it? It was better in my burger than as a salad. The fries were stupendous, especially the truffle fries, but I cannot have them anymore. The tables are wiped after each party exits but sometimes it will take a few moments before the hostess comes out to wipe down the tables. She didn't exactly provide the best customer service. The prices ($$$) are just as they should be for this day and age, definite splurge. Additionally, I splurged on an adult beverage for the hot day, a mango frozen margarita, $16 and change for 7.5 ounces of concoction. Didn't care for the tajin on the rim of the glass. Again not spicy just salty and it seemed a bit watered down, not so much tequila added for taste. Ya...
